The rooms are clean and well maintained, the property has lot of plants and beautiful overall ambiance. The bedsheets and washrooms are clean. The host and staff is very sweet, polite and helping. You can cook something small like breakfast yourself in their kitchen. The location is perfect between the black sand beach and varkala beach and 100 mts from the varkala cliff.

very good place to stay, the rooms are clean, the bed is super comfortable, you have your private bathroom with all the accessories, you have air conditioning, they give you coffee and tea in the room and it has a common area with a basic kitchen in case it is offered to you, the location is perfect less than 3 minutes walking to get to the cliff, the staff is respectful and friendly as well as the host, and the prices are very fair.

Booked on AirBnb, the host is pretty chill and gave us suggestions on what to do and all. The rooms are spacious and loved the location.

I was particularly impressed by the readiness of the staff to assist at any hour, which made us feel at home even in the late hours of the night. We loved the washrooms, and it surpassed the expectation as washrooms are usually concerns during out stays outside the branded hotels, but we were pleasantly surprised with Dolphin Bay :). I've rated my experience with 3 stars, and here's why: While the service and ambiance undoubtedly merit a full 5 stars, I encountered a few issues that impacted my overall satisfaction. Despite the rooms being as clean as possible, I found insects like lizards and bed bugs present. Fortunately, this didn't affect our sleep quality, and we had a comfortable stay. Another point to note is the location. Although the property is situated near a cliff, it's not directly sea-facing, which means a short walk is required to enjoy the sea view. In summary, Dolphin Bay offers a fantastic stay with impeccable service and cleanliness. A little attention to pest control would make it an even more exceptional place to stay.

We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay in Dolphin Bay. Mr. Babu was kind enough to arrange 2 wheelers for rent when I had requested him in advance. The 2 wheeler was in a very good condition and we enjoyed roaming around Varkala. He also arranged a cab to drop us back to the airport after our stay was over with his local contacts. The cab was pretty reliable even though it was at 3AM. The place is serene with a lot of lush greenery that has been naturally integrated into the surroundings. Mr. Babu is very passionate about gardening and ensures that everything is well maintained. The staff was very courteous, well behaved and helpful. The location was right next to Darjeeling cafe on the cliff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Varkala for all the above reasons!

This place is just 2 mins away from the Varkala cliff. The location is very apt to travel anywhere in Varkala. The place is full on plants and each cottage has privacy of its own. It is very well maintained by Baboo who is very friendly and helpful. He was a great host and made sure all our requests were fulfilled. It is very safe and convenient to stay here. Definitely must stay here if visiting Varkala!

A very cosy property near North Cliff, Varkala. The resort is well maintained. Every room is an individual villa making it quiet & private. They have a common area with a small library too, an equipped kitchen, washing machine and a beautiful Garden making it perfect for Families. The host makes sure you have a comfortable stay. This resort is just 3min walk from Cliff. Highly recommended for solo female travellers and Families. Highly recommended 9/10
