Divine Bliss Beach Resort

Excellent location in between the main beach and black beach. Friendly staff, the lady in charge of breakfast is amazing, the breakfast choice was excellent and all dishes were fantastic. We stayed in one of the cottages and the room was really big, clean and comfortable. Only issue we had was paying at check out, booking com said visa payment accepted, but the card machine wasn't working. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Divine Bliss Beach Resort - Pretty decent stay! Cleanliness was above average, beds were comfy, and parking was hassle-free. Washrooms could be better, though. Loved the location--super close to Black Sand Beach and Varkala Cliff! Nice rooms, but the price? A bit on the steeper side.

Our experience at Divine Bliss was far from blissful. We booked three rooms to accommodate our group of 14 people, which we made clear was sufficient for us. The booking was for 9,000, and we were told extra beds would cost 300 each. However, during the stay, there was no mention of any additional charges or requirements. Despite this, we were later charged 900 for an extra bed we didn't even receive. To make matters worse, the complimentary breakfast they promised was never provided. When we inquired, we got no satisfactory response. While the rooms themselves were fine, the overall attitude and lack of transparency from the staff overshadowed the stay. On top of that, this place is absolutely not suitable for groups looking to relax and have fun. We went as a group of friends, and throughout our stay, we were repeatedly told to remain silent and calm. It felt like we were being monitored, which made the stay uncomfortable. If you're planning to enjoy and unwind with friends, I would strongly advise against choosing this place. It's not worth the money, and the poor service makes it a regrettable choice. Definitely not recommended.

We were very happy with our stay at Divine Bliss. We were staying in one of the cottages, which are surrounded by greenery and feel very private. The room was big, with air conditioning and a fan. All staff members were very friendly, especially the lovely lady serving breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was excellent - you get a choice of western or indian dishes that tasted much better than most restaurants we tried in Varkala... The location was also great, very close to both the cliff beach as well as black beach (which was quieter and easier to access). All in all, I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Varkala!

I stayed at this place as the accommodation was organised by the yoga retreat. The room was clean, and the staff did their best to assist and accommodate our requests. The location is great, with lovely cafes and quiet beaches nearby. It's basic, but for the price, I can't really complain. It's a good budget friendly hotel in Varkala.

The room is located quite near the beach, and the rooms were great But the STAFF BEHAVIOUR IS FAR FROM ANYTHING BLISSFUL. They acted very rude demanded every person's id which felt quite unnecessary (even children age less than 18) and they were monitoring idk y all the time

We had an amazing stay at this resort near Black Beach! From the booking process to check-out, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel very safe throughout our stay. As a group of 5 girls, we truly appreciated their kindness and attentiveness. The ambience of the resort was wonderful, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a great experience!

Definitely a average experience with the stay on this hotel. The only upside is it's near to the beach at walkable distance of 100mts. Don't fall for pictures, those are old and not promised as these days. Pros: Good location as the beach is near by, big and spacious rooms, ample car parking space. Very clean and neat rooms. Cons: Everything, the resort is old and for the price we pay it is not worth the stay. Old hard mattress, no proper lightings, rooms full of insects as it's in the garden, old AC which makes terrible noise which wakes you up from sleep or doesn't allow you to sleep. Noisy fans, average breakfast not recommend to take breakfast included stays, No voluntary service for 2 days stay like room service etc. No security, anyone can enter into resort unnoticed. In short, for the price we pay to this hotel it's nothing worth it. Definitely they need to renovate and improve facilities there. There are other good stays near by which is 10x better than this for the money we pay. Deeply regreted. I am giving 2 stars just for clean rooms, car parking and location near to beach.
