Cliff & Coral Hostel, Varkala, Odayam Beach

We had a really lovely week-long stay at Cliff and Coral, and it's safe to say it became one of the most memorable parts of our trip. From the moment we arrived, everything about the place made us feel comfortable and at ease. The property was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained--perfect for unwinding and enjoying some quiet time. What stood out the most was the hospitality. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always available to guide us with tips, help us with travel plans and everything. That kind of attention and care really made a difference and added a personal touch to our experience. The staff were equally wonderful--always greeting us with a smile and a kind word, often going the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether it was a quick request or just casual conversation, they made us feel truly looked after. Their warmth and friendliness created such a positive atmosphere around the place. We made some incredible memories here--waking up to calm surroundings, enjoying quiet evenings, and simply feeling relaxed. It genuinely felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely love to come back again and relive the experience.

I really enjoyed my stay here! 10min walk from the Cliff. 1min walk from the beach. Very quiet location, beach is not crowded which is very enjoyable. 5/5 service. I stayed in the female AC dorm and we would get it cleaned every second day. They even changed our bedsheets after 4 days. Everything very clean. Shower head with good pressure! Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooftop is great for morning practice! Cheers

I accidentally booked this property and that was a good thing. This place is quite&green. I booked the AC dorm 6 sharing which was good. Room and bathroom were clean rest is depend on people who stay there. There is an outdoor open shower and tap which felt good that I don't need to go inside the dorm dirty after swim. Service was good, Sai the manager , Jackson and even the Chechys are lovely. There is a kitchen that serves coffee tea and breakfast. Overall I like it

We had an absolutely amazing time at Cliff and Coral in Varkala! Stayed for 4 days and every moment was peaceful and memorable. The vibe of the place is warm and welcoming, with a perfect blend of comfort and nature. Special thanks to Zai, the manager, who took such good care of us super attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The place is beautifully maintained and close to the cliff, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Varkala!

It's inside a lane on the cliff so no direct beach or sea view. The black sand beach is quite close and its less crowded to take a dip in the sea at any point of time. The property is very calm and very well maintained. The hosts are very helpful and understanding. Its a little far from the north cliff where the cafes and stuff are. Would be a 20-25 min walk to reach the main area. There is a cafe but options are limited you can order online though.

had the pleasure of staying at the Coral and Cliff Hotel recently, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the stunning cliffside views to the impeccable service, this hotel is a true gem. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and professional staff who made the check-in process smooth and easy. The lobby itself was modern and stylish, breathtaking views of the ocean below. It set the tone for what would be a relaxing and luxurious stay.

If you go on groups, this place is definitely a good to place. It's a very beautiful property. The only issue is their kitchen, it gets closed at 3 pm which they can do something on this. If you are planning a trip to varkala with your friends, it's quite affordable and spacious. For solo, it is kind of okay okay, they can make this place more engaging for solo people.It needs little bit improvement as it is a hostel so if it will be engaging, it will be a great place to stay.
