Cascara Beach Resort

Cascara Beach Resort is a brilliant place to stay in Varkala. Our room was clean, quiet and modern and the owner couldn't be more helpful and relaxed. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the cliff, restaurants and the beach.

We spent 1 night at the cascara beach resort and had the best time. The owner is fantastic and very responsive. The room was clean and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, dinner is also available. Thanks for your hospitality!

After a long search for places to stay, finally decided on Cascara. Lovely rooms and service by the staff. Close to the cliff. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. A must stay when in Varkala.

Please don't get deceived by the 4.9 reviews and pictures uploaded by the host. First of all it doesn't have cliff view this property is located 500 meters away from the cliff and doesn't provide a view of beach Second thing its not a resort one of the room is aesthetically good . Main problem we faced was we were six people and we had taken two rooms even though we had whats app text confirmation for the price that he had quoted for extra beds he demanded extra price and the beds that he provided was completely wet and in bad condition , the mattress and sofa were also not cleaned and had lots of dust. As he had promised breakfast in the morning he served 5 omelet's and says 5 people 5 omelet's in a rude as if we were asking for free food even though we were 6 people I personally don't recommend this stay as there are lots of other options available

Saji is really sweet. He makes sure we get whatever we need and never says a no for any sort of help. His efforts for this place is really incredible. Rooms are clean, neat and easily accessible to the beach. Makes sure we have the best homely breakfast.

This beautiful boutique resort is a peaceful escape with cozy rooms and greenery . The host is incredibly helpful and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. Situated just a 2 minute stroll from the north cliff view.The rooms were very clean and spacious and it had a very charming ambiance !

If you are staying in Varkala, stay at Cascara Beach Resort. I can't recommend it highly enough. One of the great highlights of our trip to India was visiting Varkala and this was in no small part to choosing Cascara Beach Resort. The location of Cascara is amazing. It's so close to all of the cliff side restaurants and shops, whilst feeling quiet and peaceful at all times. Our accommodation was spacious, comfortable and clean. As private as we wanted it to be, but with access to communal areas (such as the kitchen and a seated area) where we spent time with our host as well as other guests. Speaking of hosts, Saji was incredible. He was very friendly, flexible, accommodating and helpAs a local, he was knowledgeable about the area and regularly recommended places to go or to eat. He was never wrong and the places we went to were great, including eating the food made at Cascara (which we got to help prepare upon request). Staying at Cascara was the perfect way to end our holiday to India. Thank you, Saji!

This is just a walking distance from the cliff. It's very cosy, serene and full of greenery. The host Saji is really accommodative of your needs and goes above and beyond. The cook akka prepares fresh breakfast and has a variety to offer. Rooms are neat.
