Ashiyana Cliff And Beach Resort

Our stay was great at this place. The place is located at walking distance to the Varkala cliff. Eva, the host is well versed with yoga, breath work and meditation. We took a breath work session with Eva and it was a wonderful experience. Apart from that it is a very laid back place. There is a common area where you can sit and play board games or just relax in the afternoon.

The rooms were clean and spacious. We booked a 4-sharing room and a 2-sharing room, both of which were excellent. The bathrooms were also spacious and clean, with AC and hot water facilities available. The garden space and reception area provided great spots to relax and chat with friends. The only drawback was the lack of power backup during power cuts, but aside from that, everything was satisfactory. The property is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the cliff. Additionally, the receptionist was extremely helpful and accommodating.

We had a very pleasant stay at Ashiyana. The cliff is at a 2 mins walking distance. Very convenient. The rooms are well kept, neat and tidy. Nothing fancy, but has all the basic amenities. Even the breakfast here was really nice. Would highly recommend staying here.

Rooms are spacious has nice interiors with decent cleanliness. It is 2-3 mins walk to the cliff from the place. It is more like a homestay.However, I need to call out the property manager/owner as it is highly understaffed and is completely dependent on two staff members. The property has no powerbackup but an inverter, unfortunately we faced a power outage and the inverter couldn't even support an hour. We couldn't even blame the staff members and there was no one else whom we could contact in such a difficult situation. To make it a good buisness I guess hospitality of this place needs to improve to a great extent

I recently ordered room service during my stay at Ashiyana , and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The menu offered a nice variety of options, ranging from light snacks to full meals. Highly recommended at Varkkala

Look, simply stated, we walked around for 4 hours comparing nearby accommodations. We opted to stay here longer. For soooo many reasons. Clean, organized, helpful staff, quiet, large additional guest space, new Aircon, comfortable beds, even brand new throw pillows. Then breakfast for 250 rupes, yoga if you want. Mmmmm ...did I miss anything? And the comparable price makes it a 'no-brainer'. Thanks Eva and Tarik.

Rooms were good and budget friendly stay .However we had a horrible night where entire night there was no power and invertor also went down since it rained very badly.The receptionist had no answers and it is managed by 2 small guys who has no clue on what it is.Whole night without power in this summer it was horrible.The next day we spoke to the owner and got the refund but our entire sleep was spoiled due to this .Hope they have a generator and fix this issue

Ashiyana Cliff and Beach Resort is a perfect getaway! Steps from the beach, it offers a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious meals, and great service. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!
