Extremely Disappointing Experience - Not Recommended I recently stayed at this resort and had an extremely disappointing experience. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for your stay. Here are the key issues we faced: - The property caretaker was incredibly rude, drunken and lacked basic courtesy. He clearly does not know how to treat guests with respect. This person can easily spoil your vacation within no time. - The facilities were in terrible condition. The swimming pool was not maintained at all - the water was filthy. Additionally, there was no proper water supply in the restroom, which was a major inconvenience. - Despite promises of providing home-cooked food, we were served food that was clearly bought from a hotel. This dishonesty was very disappointing. - The most upsetting part was the caretaker started threatening us late evening, claiming that foreign guests were complaining because since we were chit chatting. We saw no evidence of any complaints. Worst Management!! Highly not recommended for both Family & Bachelors group! Overall, this was a highly unpleasant stay, and I would not recommend this resort to anyone. Save your money and choose a place where guests are treated with respect and proper facilities are provided.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Would Not Recommend Our stay at amanzara inn over the past two days was a nightmare. From start to finish, it was one of the worst experiences we've ever had at a resort. 1. Poor Maintenance: The property was poorly maintained, with unclean rooms, broken amenities, and an overall lack of hygiene. It was far from what was advertised. 2. Terrible Service: The staff was unhelpful and indifferent to our concerns. Even the simplest requests were ignored or met with excuses. 3. Rude Owner: The resort owner was shockingly rude and unprofessional. Instead of addressing our concerns, they were dismissive and even argumentative, making the situation much worse. 4. Lack of Basic Amenities: Basic necessities like hot water, clean towels, and functioning air conditioning were either unavailable or poorly managed. It felt like we were paying for nothing. If you're considering staying this resort, save yourself the trouble and find a better place. This was a complete waste of time and money, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

I would rate this property and its services as average. The only notable positive aspect is its proximity to the sea, with just a 5-minute walk to the shore. However, I did not feel the stay was worth the price paid. The rooms appearance was so Dull and it didn't seem like we were in resort at all. The owner initially promised a free breakfast during booking, but later denied this upon arrival. Additionally, the rate charged was considerably high, and we could have secured better accommodations nearby for the same price. I would suggest exploring alternative options in the area.

Worst experience, manager was very rude. Pathetic behaviour. You will loose your pease of mind. Pool was full of heavy chlorine, no proper cleaning. Beds were very dirty, no proper blankets. Always insisted to switch off the ac and electric main control will be turned off by them. Requesting not to book this property, we found lots of good properties nearby. You should not talk beyond 10pm, they will power off the balcony lights by 11pm. Manager no words to describe him. Such a mannerless, alcoholic guy.

We have been in this area for quite some time we booked this resort but was a great disappointment the staff was very rude and demanding if the management have gone through this comments pls change the staff no hospitality provided and your reputation will be ruined because of the staff thanks

We had a great experience in terms of the service.It is a very good option if u r looking for a quiet and budget freindly stay with a nice pool.

Amanzara is a lovely family run guest house,situated near Odayam beach just north of Varkala beach and North cliff. It is a great peaceful location, less than 5 minutes walk to the beach. There are restaurants all along the beach towards Varkala north cliff and beyond. We found the accommodation perfect for our family. The pool was lovely and helped us relax and cool off. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the AC worked well and kept us cool. Breakfasts were tasty and healthy. Best of all was the lovely welcome, they are such lovely people who try and help you enjoy your stay as much as possible. I would recommend this hotel for families and anyone looking for a chilled out place to stay. If you want to party hard you should probably stay nearer north cliff which is livelier.

Had a very very bad experience. We travelled as a family of 10. The staffs were soo rude. No telephone service and no TV, no hot water. They gave 3 rooms since all the other rooms were booked and they said they will change the rooms the next day which they did not change. Due to a medical emergency, we planned to depart early the next day and we tried calling the owner the current day morning to inform that we are vacating the next morning. But he was totally drunk and sprouted many bad words and literally made house arrest demanding more money. And later we found that the person who talked with us and his wife are not the owner but the staffs. When we asked for owner no they went silent and finally we left that place. It was a total nightmare.
