ABBA Sea Win Beach Resort

Clean and big double room that I shared with a friend. Large and clean bathroom and a big balcony facing the sea, even if the hotel in not at immediate seaside. Well tended garden and an absolutely lovely Nepalese staff! Price worthy at any time! Breakfast menu avalable to place order for next morning and co-operating with ABBA restaurant at the cliff it is even possible to order dinner - although the very nearest restaurant is five minutes walk away. Small shops everywhere to buy water, fruits etc. A shared kitchen if you want to prepare something yourself. Close to several beaches. Ricksha to Varkala only 100 IRP and 10-15 min.

The best fresh fish we had anywhere on the subcontinent. We had the tandoori snapper 2 nights in a row it was so good, and the vibe is really nice. Definitely go if you want to try some fresh fish, and although we didn't try them the prawns looked huge and great as well.

Due to really bad wifi in most places in India and being busy since returning back to London this review is for our visit on the nights 16-18/12/16. Edited and submitted 9/2. Hopefully still relevant.||Booked in advance in late morning from Kaithakuzhi as smell of burning plastic in street incinerator too much along with lack of A/C originally booked in bait & switch charade.||We arrived at 12:30 with our 6kg each rucksacks, dodging the politely hassling shop owners along the cliff path.||Whilst starting to write this review on the communal terrace I thought I could smell something burning, then I heard crackling. Investigating I saw a large fire burning branches and some plastic. Oh no! We had just escaped this!!! I was about to wash my smokey clothes that got smoked while last drying the night before. Nothing to do with the management.||Advice is to pay for a sea view and breeze!! No smokey rubbish fires!||Bad wifi at back on private terrace overlooking sea so defeats the object of relaxing in own place and being on net. Have to use shared public balcony next to road and noises. ||Big Bathroom with actual bath available with very hot water. Shower too along with sink, big mirror, light over mirror for shaving, meshed window, toilet with squirter! Toilet paper and packet soap. ||If they could improve the wifi it would be great as potentially very relaxing in private.

There rooms facing cliff are quiet and clean. The bathrooms are very big,with a sprayer on toilet. Lots of hot water and there own well water. Nepalese workers here and all very friendly and sweet. No food here,so plan on a short walk to local restaurants. also one of best trailors outside by cliff.g.g tailors .|Stay away from Luna azool restaurant in the front by cliff. Nasty manager,bad food and rip off drinks. Loud music at night and disrespectful person,burning trash in daytime against the law,but nobody says anything to him, as he is a local crazy.he should be taken care of by police with fines for burning and fighting all the time. A lovely little hotel close to Black Beach. Seawiev and a nice garden. Kitchen and the friendliest staff in Varkala. Clean, beautiful and wonderful location.

This place is lovely. A little hotel with nice and service minded staff, beautiful garden, kitchen, seawiev from the balconies, fresh, clean and quiet. Bugdet rooms as well and perfect for families.||I can strongly recommend!
