Vimokshaya Retreat & Resorts

The resort ambiance was very good. The staff is very friendly and supportive. The food was really good..We've booked two cottages. The space was okay, but basic facilities were limited. First, they forgot to provide shampoo, lotion, and other essentials. One important suggestion is that the group, during the time we stayed there, come to the pool in public and drink. Their behaviour was annoying; due to the presence of women in our group, we could not use the pool much. So it would have been better to provide a separate place to have liquor. It is better not to give permission to consume alcohol in common places used by women and children, like pools....

The location is 12 km away from Vagamon. If you are going by a group of people then this place is highly recommended. Location wise good.

Utterly disappointing experience happened ever in my life.This place is outer Vagamon called Mathayi para and road is too bad. Only good part is the pool. 4500 per cottage is toooo high by considering the amenities provided. Complementary breakfast is very poor compared to other peer resorts. Do not order their restaurant food if you forced to stay here because of other resort unavailability .

Worst experience ever in my life. I have experience with different resorts in different ranges in my life but I think this is the worst experience ever. Room size is standard but not well maintained, you will see water coming from the ceiling as it rains , bedsheets are full of dirt and smells so bad. This is not just the case of one cottage. We took 2 cottages. We asked them to replace it but nothing happened. Except a boy(I don't remember his name) and few cleaning staff, no one is helpful. This includes the manager , owner etc. You will not get all the foods as you they agreed, they will change it. You will find empty shampoo and body wash bottles in the washrooms. Once you parked your car you can't take it outside as it is 'Last come first go model' . If they improve the neatness and approach to their customer it can change to a good place but again in terms of accessibility it is an issue.

Very bad experience. There was no staff at the night for basic aminities We found cockroach and leech on the extra bed provided The closet on the bathroom was not working at the night and when we call to the care taker nobody was there to pickup the phone Totaly we faced a bad situation and when we complained about this at the time of billing the staff at the office was like they are not responsible for this all. And the behaviour of office staff was really hectic. If i have a option for any zero star or negative star i will give that rating.

I had booked 3 cottages here. It was an horrible experience that bathroom of one of the cottage was soo disappointing. Even the tap got damaged on first touch. Also the flush tank was not working. The most horrible matter is that there was no care taker available. I had called the mobile number provided which only responded in the morning. They even provide leaches and cockroach as a complementary with extra bed. After all these horrible experience that lady in the front office was talking like these are all the facilities provided by team 'VIMOKSHAYA'! Take it if you need or just leave. Highly recommendable if you are looking for some wildlife experience with cockroach and leaches with a wild good morning from the staff.

Great place to have a quiet retreat. Rustic and vintage feel accompanied with good natural feel. One thing I didn't like was the food that was offered,would have made the the stay far better if that was corrected.

A decent place where we can enjoy with our friends or family. Its in a place called upputhara. Room was clean. 5 star for that. They have swimming pool and nearby their restaurant. They have many cottages. And they have given karnatic music names for all the cottages. Room service is really good.
