Nice 1st floor house for long stay and the house owners living downstairs give you more security and supports. My sister and her two kids along with my parents from UK stayed there 10 months for kids autism therapy. Initially I thought it would be ideal to stay near the Jewel centre at Kottayam in flats so there is not much of traveling to Kottayam but at the end we couldn't leave this house. The main reason was the supports from Mrs and Mrs Santhosh and their son. Everyone felt being in the same family and felt very secure. From supports such as the transports to Jewel centre, arranging other transports, help for extending Visa to any other small supports as per needs, the family was there any time during my sisters 10 months stay. In addition, it is a nice and quiet area to stay compared to busy city life at Kottayam and the area was not affected by flooding like in Kottayam during the flooding session. House is nice and clean but the hall can get warmer in extreme weather condition if you are not a person to handle the hot weather as the house is on the top (1st) floor. However, you can arrange if you need an air con unit in the hall too. We didn't need one as the one in the rooms and the fans were enough. I take this opportunity to thank Mr Santhosh and his family. My sister and the kids couldn't have had any better place and family there where they don't speak local language and had never lived.
