I ordered it on Swiggy around 2 PM - a veg biryani and a gulab jamun. I loved both! The veg biryani was really good and fresh, with great quality and enough quantity. Todays morning was absolutely Nice one... Had a tasty Breakfast from this hotel.. it's happy to say that one of the best breakfast had ever from thrissur. And also it's necessary to share that the customer service was really efficient. The cashier who welcomes with smile ...Mr.Manoj ..who gives us a positive morning and end with the same smile ..which is one of the attraction. His dealing and behaviour with customer is intuitive and prompt. Overall Todays morning in Thrissur is awesome for visiors like us

& Pathans Restaurant is one of the busiest places, especially during breakfast and lunch hours. The restaurant is well-known for its authentic Kerala-style lunch, and many people prefer it for its vegetarian meals with proper side curries. However, the overall atmosphere during peak hours is chaotic, and it feels more like a business-driven setup rather than a customer-friendly experience. The dining space is often overcrowded, and finding a comfortable seat can be difficult. During my visit for breakfast, I faced an issue with seating. Initially, a staff member suggested we adjust with another person who was already eating, which I found inappropriate. After refusing, they eventually arranged another place for us. The staff seemed to be in a rush, and their behavior lacked the politeness one expects in a good restaurant. & For breakfast, I ordered Masala Dosa, Poori Masala, and an Idli set. : I personally prefer my idlis to be soft and fluffy, but the ones I had here felt harder than expected, which was a disappointment for me. However, taste preferences vary from person to person. : The poori did not meet my expectations, as the texture and taste were not satisfying. : The best dish among the three! The dosa was crisp, with a well-balanced masala filling, and the sambar was also good. When comparing the price with other well-known restaurants like , I felt that the taste and service here did not justify the price. At a similar or even lower price, these places offer much better quality and taste. & One major drawback of Pathans Restaurant is the service and staff attitude. The staff members seem to be always in a hurry and do not treat customers with the expected level of politeness. During my visit, I found their behavior to be rude and unprofessional. When I enquired about the A/C not being cool enough, the response was quite harsh--they simply said it was not working and that they could do nothing about it. This kind of attitude is unacceptable in a restaurant of this standard. & Despite the issues with staff behavior, I noticed that the place was maintained clean, and the wash area was also kept tidy. However, the rooms could have been cleaner, and the overall hygiene standards should be improved. ! The parking space is very congested, making it difficult for cars to be parked properly. However, the parking attendant was polite and helpful, which was a positive aspect. (Ground Floor) One of the good things about this place is Pathans Bakery, located on the ground floor. The bakery offers a variety of sweets and other snacks, which are quite good in quality and worth trying. Final Verdict Pros: Authentic Kerala meals, especially good for lunch Masala Dosa and Sambar taste good Clean and well-maintained wash area Polite and helpful parking attendant Pathans Bakery offers good sweets and snacks Cons: Overcrowded during peak hours, leading to a chaotic dining experience Staff behavior is rude and unprofessional Service is rushed, and customer care is lacking Idli and Poori were not up to the mark Price is high compared to the taste and quality of food Parking space is congested, making it difficult for cars Would I Recommend It? If you are looking for an authentic Kerala-style vegetarian lunch, this place might be a good option. However, for breakfast, I would not recommend it due to the quality, pricing, and service issues. There are better restaurants in the same price range offering superior taste and service. Also, if you value polite and professional customer service, this place might disappoint you.

Very worst food now... they were serving best food in town earlier... the attitude of reception is very bad... I will never go there again

Had Chola Battura. Battura itself was large one. More than enough for a single person. Chana was also served in large quantity. Over all delicious

The staff doesn't behave politely to the customers. The parking facility is also not proper. Difficult to park cars inside their parking facility. Rooms are average and should be a bit more clean. But the food is great
