A small and neatly kept place in the heart of the city, just near to the railway station and ksrtc. The best biryani in town, I would say. I have tried the chilly chicken and beef roast as well, all went good, and the mint lime too. CB is a must try item, value for money hotel, very fairly priced menu.

One of the biggest restaurants in Thrissur. Recently had lunch here with my family and we ordered biriyani -- it was good, but I couldn't help but feel that the taste wasn't quite the same as I remember from my visit years ago with friends. The place is spacious and offers air conditioning, which adds to the comfort. However, the pricing felt a bit on the higher side compared to similar places. Not a bad experience, but not as memorable as it used to be.
One of the oldest biryani places, Hotel Sapphire has a long way. Located just outside the railway station, its was a hit with travelers and locals alike. Their biryani's very very popular and started as a small hotel.||Today, it has expanded and is always crowded. No reservations, they have managed to maintain the same quality of food. There's a car parking available a few meters away
One of the best biriyani in the town... but consistency is a bit problem... on their good day it can be one of the best biriyani you can taste in kerala... chilly chicken is also a good here... The place is clean and service is very prompt...
I had a great experience at Sapphire Hotel. The place is exceptionally clean, and the service is very prompt. After finishing my meal, I went to wash my hands, and by the time I returned, my table was already cleared--showing how attentive and efficient the staff is. There are plenty of waiters, ensuring quick service. The food was delicious, authentic, and well-prepared. Overall, a great place for a pleasant dining experience. Highly recommended.
The Food not good at all They could stop serving meals. Because they are not providing proper curry or gravy for meals and the quantity is like 2 tablespoons of curry for each person. But they provide more vessel for 1 meal. 3/10 Biryani The rice is too hard. Not even smooth to eat. 2/10
I had a terrible experience at Hotel Saffier. I ordered two plate of chicken biryani, and it tasted more like turmeric than actual biryani. The flavor was completely off, and the quality didn't match the high price. For the amount I paid, I expected much better. I'm really disappointed and can't recommend this place."
I and my family used to order food from our nearby restaurant in kolazhy. This time I wanted to try egg biriyani from other restaurants and we used swiggy to order from sapphire. As this is the season of lent for a Christian, I didn't expect to receive tiny(yet many)CHICKEN pieces in my EGG biriyani. Ok whatever, I gave the chicken bits to my cats. Something else was there in it too, which nobody would be expecting,I got a cockroaches' head from it.(I'll attach the images ).Ever in my life have i experienced such a worst feeling while having biriyani. I want you all reading this to examine your food before eating from this restaurant or any other restaurant. As I'm typing this, after Eating this ridiculous biriyani, my throat is kinda itching, I'm not sure of the cause, cockroaches'!? Idk. Just please be careful you all. Sapphire hotel, giving a big 0 from my side.
