Hotel Merlin International

Our dept gtg in 2024 Jan was in Merlin .The outdoor venue of zouk won our hearts . The freshness and ambience they created for us on the day taken out of our busy schedules was so memorable that we all opted the same venue in 2025 Jan for the first ever alumni gtg of Dept of Pediatrics , GMC TSR . Organised on a short notice , the staff in Merlin did a really great job in setting the same venue despite renovation works around plus another show in a close outdoor spot . Mr Unnikrishnan and team were excellent in arranging and communication . The menu had enough to satisfy veg n non veg taste buds that I had conveyed it personally to the Chef too . Mr Sanish was really cooperative and helpful with the venue arrangements . Can't thank management in Merlin enough ! I'm sure we all in dept look forward to outdoor dept functions in Merlin in coming years too ! 10 stars to Zouk , Merlin staff - Mr Unnikrishnan and the master chef ( I'm sorry I can't recollect name as I got a bit late in posting this review )

Hotel is good for stay. Lift was under maintenance. Food cost is reasonable. Can't stay in a room without AC, can use room spray. Other than that Service all good.

Thrissur's oldest hotel built in 1949. This heritage building is in a tranquil three acre setting next to the railway station and bus stand in the heart of the city. I stayed in the room for 5 days and had a great experience overall. The atmosphere was neat and clean, with ample amenities provided. The staff, especially Ajith, was very cooperative and helpful throughout the stay.

The best hotel I've ever stayed at! Luxurious rooms, a beautiful lawn area, and ample parking space made it a truly comfortable experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and honest. After checkout, I realized I had left several valuable items in the room. The staff reached out immediately, carefully packed everything, and safely couriered it to me. In my 31 years of travel, I have never encountered such thoughtful and genuine hospitality.

I recently had a one day stay at Merlin International. The location of the hotel is very comfortable and also the lawn area was very helpful for my kids to play and have fun. The staff were very cordial and polite. The rooms very comfortable. some minor issues faced were that the rooms looked a bit old , the switchboard and light fittings were coming out of place dangerous as I had two small kids had to keep a constant eye out if they were poking around. The internal phone was not working so every time I had to go down to the restaurant to place a room service order.

My sister's engagement was arranged here and the experience was excellent. They truly lived upto our expectations with the service including food and stage decorations. Everyone at the engagement also shared the same views.
