HOTEL AKSHAYA

We went to the hotel and it was jampacked with people. However, the staff were courteous and we didn't have to wait for the food for too long. While we were there, there was never a point when the hotel wasn't full. The food was delicious and more than what we could eat. So we packed it up and took it home. Overall it was a very good experience.

I visited Akshaya Hotel in Thrissur this morning for breakfast, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was super delicious--every item was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I especially appreciated the authentic taste and the quick service. I left feeling very happy and completely satisfied. Definitely a great spot for a tasty and fulfilling breakfast!

Late night food available. Till 12:00 midnight. Best in service and food quality. The whole family liked it. Pepper Macroni was very very spicy. Gave feedback in counter. Very Reasonable price... Must go place... Well maintained.

Must try hotel when you visit thrissur. They serve authentic kerala style food. Can't park the car infront of the hotel as the road is too narrow and crowded. But the food here tastes delicious. Kerala style parota with double egg curry is a must try dish.

First time to this place with a family and was a very bad experience. A hotel is known by its service when it is full and this was worse. The starters came after the main course and prawn pepper fry was black in colour.! Burnt ! And when we complained to the waiter about being late he said he cant help it ! There was atleast 30 to 40 mins of waiting time for each item ordered. Veg fried rice was like pulao without any sauces . Utterly disappointing experience.

We purchased 5 chicken biriyanis on 11/05/2025 noon. On the same day 2 among us suffered from severe vomitting and loose motion and got admitted in the hospital. The doctor confirmed it as food poison and medicines for the same was advised. And on the next day another 2 persons among us suffered loose motion and stomach pain. We had such a worst experience from the Akshaya hotel, Poonkunnam.

The service was not up to the mark. I went there and waited for almost 15 minutes, yet no one approached me, even though the restaurant was nearly empty and a group of waiters was standing around. Honestly, they deserve only one star. I'm giving an extra star solely for the tasty food, despite their lack of manners.

Tried their Alfahm. It was different, but delicious. Last time here, the staff was incapable of handling a rush hour. This time around, service was good. Food is always good.
