Shoreline Beach Resort

Have stayed here a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed both occasions. The location is rather unbeatable, almost on the beach. Recently the owner added a sitting area at the top of the house where you can relax with a beer and watch the sun set, which we really enjoyed. The food is really good too, so I can definitely recommend Shoreline if you ever find yourself down on Thottada Beach.

Had a very wonderful stay. The owner and staff are down to earth people with appreciable client friendly attitude. Proximity to brackish water and perhaps one of the most clean and beautiful beaches is yet another attraction. If you expect a home away from home filled with memorable experience you can select this place

My fourth visit here, and every time felt lucky that i found this at the first place. My first trip here was in 2016, and glad to say it has always gotten better. A few reasons i figured -|1. Maintenance of the property has been a key focus area for Renith, and he is very particular about it|2. The food cooked by Shambhu is best of Kerala cuisine, needless to say we ended up over eating in every meal, including breakfast |3. Access to the beach, the balcony and terrace sitting area - its like conversations with the sea through the day|4. Renith is very helpful as a host, he has guided us to restaurants for lunch, handloom shops, even the looms - all of it has been a great experience. Do checkout the local textile produce||This is one place i recommend without a shade of doubt, and have dragged my friends along as well for a trip to simply unwind. All who accompanied me have echoed the same feeling.||I am planning to make this an annual pilgrimage going forth.

We stayed one week last year in February in Shoreline resort and we found the place (food, rooms, services..) amazing ! We decided to come back around Christmas and we found the same delight: everything is perfect and we spent 6 wonderful days

We were delighted to discover this resort. Our stay in shoreline resort was absolutely perfect. The nature surroundings is totally amazing, super quiet and simply beautiful. We extended our one week stay as soon as we spent our first night and day there. We stayed totally 10 days and each vegetarian breakfast and dinner were incredibly various, fresh and were delicious surprises every day. The food was made by the very kind and very professional staff. All information and communication with the manager were super precise and very helpful. We can only recommend this place and probably come back as soon as we can!

Being based in Bangalore, this property has been my husband's favourite family getaway spot in Kannur since nearly a decade now. That itself speaks volumes why one should consider our recommendation if one is looking for a serene hassle-free vacation that can soothe one's nerves to the core. This well-maintained property is located right on the clean Thottada beach, and has access to backwaters on the other side. Also, it is adequately isolated as there are not too many houses around. The beach is also never too crowded, though we went there on a long weekend. We've had the privilege to experience excellent hospitality by our host (Renith) along with excellent sumptuous meals meticulously cooked by ShambhooDa with his ever pleasing smile. As always, we're looking forward to know Kannur better, experience Theyyam and Renith's warm hospitality once again!

I stayed at the shoreline beach resort for almost two months and it was a time I will never forget. The resort was very clean, the staff very caring and helpful. The food was incredible, very healthy, tasty and made with heart. The location is pristine, right on the shore of a private beach. I got to see the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The owner, Renith was very helpful. Anything I needed he delivered right away. I am very grateful for my time there and I will most definitely be back!

Food - 11/10 (not typo, it's intentional)|Views - 10/10 (One extra mark because we watched dolphins play in sea from the dinning deck)|Location - 9/10|Service - 9/10|Cleanliness - 9/10||We were putting up at a different resort and had walked our way to Thottada beach just to come across this gem-of-a-resort. And immediately we checked it out and decided to check in on the next one hour.||Very conveniently and beautifully located, sandwiched between the Sea and lush green trees lined back waters - blessed with the best of two worlds Kerala has to offer. ||What makes it even better is the top notch hospitality and very tastefully done interiors and exteriors by blending the traditional Kerala style outlook with contemporary necessities/luxury of any global citizen/tourist. A huge open air dining area with sea view from under the shade and Apple ventilation.||Sparkling clean and well maintained fully functional fixtures is a personal interest of owner. And he leaves no stone unturned to keep all things right all the time.||The icing on the cake is the FOOD FOOD FOOD.|Best authentic Kerala food was served all three times daily. Quantity was always more than all of us could eat, and when I asked what would they do with the surplus, I was happy to hear that they don't waste food but manage by distributing to needy. Quality, authenticity, freshness and love can be felt with every bite. They exceeded my expectations with the level of customisation they entertained of every individual. All meals were complete and balanced. ||The attendant at the resort always served us with a smile as many times as we asked for help and at any point of the day/ night.
