Paadam by the backwaters

Had a very peaceful stay at the Paadam by the Backwaters yesterday. Situated by the side of a lovely paddy field, this homestay is a great place to bring your family and loved ones for a quiet evening stay. One can watch beautiful sunsets and sunrises sitting on the benches present in the stretch of fresh grass at the Paadam or even go for walks in the quaint roads outside overlooking the paddy fields. They also have facilities for boat rides in the stream nearby, however due to time constraints we were unable to experience a ride. All in all it was a very great experience and will definitely recommend it to all. Also immensely grateful to Mr.Sajith, the caretaker, who provided excellent service and made our stay all the more pleasant and very comfortable.

Our best home stay in India so far! Modern, well-equipped rooms, lovely bathrooms, and a pleasant little wooded park overlooking the rice paddies! A very quiet stay with beautiful walks through the rice fields and small villages. The stay would not have been the same without our best host, Saijth, who always looked after us and gave us good advice : a nice boat tour of the backwaters, walks around the house, perfect breakfast... Hope tour of come again soon !

The stay at paadam by the backwaters was just mind blowing, From the sunrise view in backwaters to enjoying the sunset view in field. We had a great time and the place was in pristine condition. And we also enjoyed walking along the backwater. Absolutely beautiful

Paadaam by the backwaters is a surprisingly great find! We decided to travel last minute & this resort is a gem - a small boutique property with beautiful aesthetics & fab location ... clean & serene place - we stayed for only 1 night. Only drawback they don't have a restaurant or arrangement for meals - since we had our own vehicle it was pretty chill for us. Sajith the caretaker is helpful & made our stay very comfortable.

Great location and ambience..very quiet place..the rooms are designed with a really good aesthetic sense..and the property is super clean and tidy..we loved the breakfast..the lush green fields in front of the property, the soothing chirping sounds of the birds, the gentle breeze, the backwaters nearby.. everything together gave us a beautiful unforgettable experience.

I have booked the property by paying advance and got confirmation after checking the avlblty. Planned my trip accordingly. In the late evening bfore the checkin date I was called by one gentleman and was told that my booking was cancld and they will refund the money. Felt this as unfair as i couldnt plan anythng in the last moment. Pl double check your confirmation.
