The South Park

We had a great stay at the hotel for over a week. The rooms were comfortable and any issues we had were sorted promptly. The location is brilliant and easy to commute anywhere in Trivandrum. The staff were great at the front desk, kitchen, room service and house keeping. The GM was extremely helpful and accommodating that he even allowed us to check out late and enjoy a complimentary lunch before our evening departure. I would highly recommend the hotel and stay there again when we visit.

The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and ambient. The service was attentive and professional -- every staff member I encountered was friendly and eager to help. The food was absolutely excellent, with a variety of delicious options that exceeded my expectations. Overall, this hotel offers a perfect combination of comfort, quality service, and outstanding dining. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning.

My stay at The South Park in Trivandrum was a delightful experience from start to finish. The rooms were very nice--clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. It's clear that attention to detail is a priority here. One of the highlights was the excellent complimentary breakfast. There was a wide variety of choices, both local and continental, and everything was fresh and flavorful--definitely a great way to start the day. The staff were warm, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. Their friendliness really added a personal touch to the whole experience. Another big plus: Uber pickups are available any time, and rides are easy to book at reasonable rates--super convenient for getting around the city. Overall, The South Park offers great value, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers!

South Park Hotel is conveniently located in the MG road itself. In view of its vantage position access to various important spots from here is very comfortable. The room in fifth floor given to us was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Sufficient & clean linen was provided in the room. The coffee/tea ingredients provided in the room were sufficient. Toilet/bath was clean & comfortable with sufficient quantity of toiletries. The baggage storage in the room was sufficient. The front office staff were polite & understanding. Room service & house keeping staff were also polite & helpful. The quality of food served here was very good. In short, we enjoyed our stay here very much. It is highly recommended for a safe, comfortable & memorable family stay. However, following issues requires the attention of the management: 1. The inside room lighting is insufficient and hence requires improvement 2. The plug points provided for guests are insufficient to connect Laptop, phone chargers etc. Hence the number of plug points will have to be increased. 3. An additional towel could be provided at the entrance to toile/bath to prevent slipping

I book my sister reception in South Park was a great experience food was good and we book through Mr Thomas was true professional and helpful everything from the booking to end was great experience his approach was very good and through out nice well recommended and will contact again for the future function the Hal and everything was good. Great amenities. lovely room. Highlight was the front desk / restuarant staff with amazing breakfast. Loved every minute of my 4 day stay. Was plesently surprised that another meal was covered with the room charges (Lunch/dinner). Will definetly stay here again and again

Such great experience with the roll and the staff. Extremely helpful, perfect location in the middle of the city and just right for individual or family stay. The food and spread was great and the room was neat.

This property is run down and needs to be improved. It was a group booking done by some novices. Even though they assured that they will make sure that the double occupancy rooms will have twin beds, they have provided a single bed with single duet and single hand towels. The room was very badly designed and there was hardly any space to even open the wardrobe which was placed near the entrance. The bath room was provided one hand towel and was hung on top of the toilet seat making an impression that this should be used as the tissue. There was enough space on either side of the wash basin counter to fix a towel ring. To add to our misery the ac was not working and deprived us of the sleep. However the next day they allowed us to shift to a different room which was comparatively better and renovated. Even after booking the room more than 6 months before and assured of the best rooms they totally failed in every department. The property needs immediate refurbishing to be in the market. With all these drawbacks they call it as a 5 star property which in fact does not qualify to be awarded even a single star. But the location is good and hope they will try to improve and upgrade to take the locational advantage.
