Very Disappointing and Overpriced Stay - NOT RECOMMENDED We had a terrible experience at Seaside Homestay Trivandrum. Despite informing them of our late arrival, we were immediately told there was no food available because their kitchen "closes at 9 PM." After a long journey, we were exhausted and requested any food they had left, but there was zero willingness to accommodate or offer any kind of basic hospitality. The owner, especially the lady managing the property, was extremely rude and unprofessional. When we politely raised concerns about the food quality, instead of responding constructively, she became aggressive and abusive. We were traveling with a baby, and when we handed over our baby's utensils to be washed, the staff were instructed to simply hand us a soap and scrubber -- we were told to wash them ourselves! On the day of checkout, we brought up concerns about being charged for poor-quality food, and again, the owner's behavior was shockingly disrespectful. She even made a sarcastic remark that they hadn't billed us for the hot water they provided -- as if that's some kind of favor in a paid stay. This place is extremely overpriced for the poor service, terrible hospitality, and rude behavior. We regret not checking the reviews before booking -- go ahead and read them, you'll see this isn't an isolated incident. Avoid this place if you value basic decency, cleanliness, and respectful treatment. Absolutely NOT recommended.

Booked this place for my father. Tiredness from travelling directly from Delhi vanished into to thin air as the place was so welcoming. He loved the place and the ambience. The host is amazing guy. This place feels like home when you enter. Simple yet elegant. Beach is 3 min walking distance from the place Airport is 10 min ride. The place is clean, people are great and food is a delight! And last, it is very affordable. I would love to book this place again soon.

Seaside Homestay has become one of the favourite hotels in our list. Just a few steps from the homestay you have the seashore and you hear the sound of sea in the night clearly. With pleasing ambient and humble ownership, the homestay become one of the most affordable hotels near airport. It is luxury to stay in a simple room with comfort, as mentioned by Jane Austen, we felt clear air and a safe location. The travel arrangements are one of the extraordinary help by the Homestay, I wish to get the support again. Throughout the journey, we felt comfort and helping homestay. A pretty substandard accommodation and service. Never fall for it if they offer their so-called "annex" which is a really miserable place with bad service, a transparent bathroom ventilator, very bad shower mixers and one under-the-stair toilet outside the house with no shower !! Then they will try to tell you that breakfast is not free !! Very bad overall experience indeed.

This was the worst experience overall. Please ensure they share pictures and verify the room details before booking. After making the payment, they never mentioned that there was no attached bathroom until I asked. This was completely unexpected. We are not staying here, even if it is free of cost. There are good places nearby who provide great service

Extremely clean place, shiny floor and I personally liked a lot the pillows and covers for the bed. I appreciate the owners welcoming heart and chit chat and how close it is to the airport. I felt very well taken care of. Thank you

Disappointing Experience: Overcharged and Promised Amenities Not Provided I booked a room with a check-in at 11:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM, expecting a 12-hour stay. However, I was charged 5,500 for this short duration, which is exorbitant. Additionally, I was compelled to pay an extra 1,000 to shift to a different room without any prior notice or justification. The booking included breakfast, but no breakfast was provided to my family. Moreover, we were forced to vacate the room abruptly, adding to our discomfort. The lack of transparency and the imposition of unexpected charges made our stay uncomfortable and disappointing.

Made a booking through Booking.com, which asked me to pay at hotel. When we reached the Hotel, owner said since we didn't pay the advance amount the rooms was given to somother person. We had travelled around 600kms to stay there , but shocked to the see the owners response. They didn't even cancel the booking, it was still showing Booking is confirmed when we reached there also. Owner didn't even ask a sorry to us, he harshly responsed like you should have paid advance, which they no where mentioned. They claimed that they connected me in booking.com, but I didn't receive any msg from them. Neither they called or mailed me before cancelling the room. Now they cancelled the room saying We didnt show up., funnyy
