Heritage place, which is bound to give you nostalgic memories... don't expect a Hotel atmosphere but a Homely one. No pampering and extra services- but a spacious clean and neat accommodation in the city central close to Padmanabha temple . Unique experience- warm and hospitable- good services. NOTE:- location is obscure and a challenge to find and reach... placed inside the Art gallery and museum.

A charming heritage property turned into a hotel! A 200-year-old structure with wooden furnishings must have had a cozy and rustic vibe, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Neat rooms and a delicious South Indian breakfast with idli and dosa make it even more inviting. Do visit the palace, which is in the same premises. Temple is also close by. |At night the main gate man was not there, so we took some time to get in the hotel as the reception the person was sleeping.

The place is difficult to find and the receptionist was drunk!!. I understand this is an old property but adequate lighting and good door locks are bare minimum for the price we pay :). We eventually ended up leaving the place and went to a nearby hotel. 6.5k was wasted. It's hard earned money :) Hope you take this as a constructive feedback.

Heritage property right at the heart of the city. My stay here was pleasant and the people were friendly. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this place if you are visiting temple or want a decent stay inside City. There is a palace museum inside the compound which you can explore.

Our stay here was a delightful trip back in time. The heritage-inspired rooms, with their traditional doors and decor, created a truly unique and authentic experience. We particularly appreciated the staff's politeness and helpfulness, especially when they accommodated our request to cook food for our baby. However, there were a couple of minor issues. The water pressure in our room was a bit inconsistent, though manageable. Additionally, the absence of hand wash in the room was a small inconvenience. Lastly, the dark entrance gate at night could be improved with additional lighting. While booking through MakeMyTrip was convenient, it might be more cost-effective to book directly with the resort. I liked the food because it prepared by local ladies. I feel like it's home made food. They served idli, vade, bread jam and tea. Overall, it offers a charming and historic stay. With a few minor improvements, it could be an even more perfect experience

The hotel is an older property, though it is maintained reasonably well. Its prime advantage is its location near the temple, making it convenient for visitors. However, the breakfast is below average, with only a few items to choose from. The price feels a bit high for what is offered, but the staff is very friendly and welcoming, which enhances the overall experience.

Greatest feature of this place is the location. It is practically a part of the temple enclosure itself. Rooms are ok, and maintained reasonably well. Staff are super friendly and always willing to make you feel comfortable. I had some issues with the room originally allotted - they quickly made it right by changing the room without any fuss. The cafeteria is right opposite to the building. Food was ok. There are many good eateries nearby which you should explore if you are a foodie!

My wife and her sister with 3 room checked in today 9.11.2024 and have faced the worst experience. The behaviour of the front desk person was pathetic. No one was there to serve water also . When asked for water rudely was said to go at back side and take it . No one to even pick the luggage and all ladies has to carry their own luggage. While book it was not said that breakfast is not complimentary and now at thile time of checkin in they convey this. It was also said that they can unload the luggage only after complete payment is done at the time of check in inspite of me paying 50% as advance payment earlier . Over all pathetic behaviour by two old person in front desk .
