Neyyar Heritage Inn

We recently visited and stayed one night around 8 adults and 3 children at this property, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing. Our rate it 3 out of 10. The ambiance was nice but the pool and rain dance facilities were average. Privacy was a concern due to the nearby restaurant. Food and beverages were overpriced and below average in taste. A cup of tea cost 25 but the taste was poor. We ordered grilled chicken which was half-cooked and were charged 500 for it. The rooms were spacious and good but at 12,000 for two rooms, we expected more. The property is located near the Neyyar Dam reservoir but the water was too deep for swimming. We were surprised when the staff refused to take our dinner order so we had to go outside. What was more concerning was the behavior of the owner towards his staff in front of us. We'd advise others to manage their expectations. Overall, this property needs significant improvement." Let me know if you'd like further changes!

Had a wonderful family get-together. The ambiance was relaxing, and the staff was warm and attentive. The food was a highlight--fresh, tasty, and perfect for all age groups. Great place for bonding, laughter, and memories. Highly recommended!

The place was absolutely beautiful and incredibly well-maintained. The staff were friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. I genuinely had one of the best days here--everything from the ambiance to the service made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and recharge. Decent Stay but Could Be Better Our team of 12 stayed at Neyyar Heritage for a workstation, and the experience was mixed. When we arrived, we were surprised to find that the property was still under construction, which was not communicated to us beforehand. Initially, only two rooms were allocated for our group, and we were told that this was their usual arrangement. However, one of the rooms was quite small and couldn't comfortably accommodate six people, making the stay inconvenient. After raising our concerns, they provided an additional room later, but the overall planning felt inadequate. Additionally, there was a shortage of water when we arrived, which was later resolved. While the issue was fixed, as guests, we didn't expect such inconveniences. Small but essential aspects like this need better management The concept of "responsible tourism" was mentioned only after we arrived, but there weren't many activities to justify it. The overall organization could have been better. That said, the food was good, which was a positive aspect of our stay. Overall, the experience was average at best. Clearer communication about room sizes and better arrangements would significantly improve the stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Heritage Inn! We went with full of two families including kids. The location is absolutely breathtaking, offering a scenic and peaceful view of the lake that instantly puts you at ease. The swimming pool was clean and perfectly placed to enjoy the beautiful surroundings alongwith rain dance. The staff were extremely welcoming, polite, and always ready to help, making the experience even better. Food was delicious traditional Sadhya with favourite fish curry. The overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing -- a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and rejuvenating getaway!

Our stay was very lovely and peaceful! The location is incredible because the view of the lake is stunning. The staff was friendly and helpful and would accommodate to any needs if possible. It is slightly further away from the other sites (animal reservations, the dam, town, etc.) so having some type of transport organized would be helpful. However, outside the property is also a very nice area to walk around.

We were a group of four friends with our families who visited this resort after seeing positive reviews on social media, but our experience was disappointing. Our confirmed check-in was at 12 PM, but the staff claimed that we agreed to arrive at 6 PM and had given one of our rooms to another party for a day. Though it was eventually returned to us, the room assigned to the ladies was not properly cleaned, as the children found a cigarette packet and a matchbox in the wardrobe. The food was average and didn't justify the cost. Multiple staff members kept calling for the same details, and despite a pre-listed dinner menu, no one took our order, so we had to dine out. Although the owner intervened to correct some issues, there were miscommunications throughout. We believe that their customer service requires significant improvement.

Highly recommended stay option near to Neyyar dam. Highly affordable rooms with clean and neat premises. Specially good for get-togethers with family and friends. Special mention to the hospitality and service provided. I give 5 stars for everything
