Mary Land Homestay - A "private pool villa"

We had a lovely stay at Mary Land Homestay! The location is perfect--peaceful and scenic, yet easily accessible. The breakfast served each morning was absolutely delicious, with a good variety and homemade flavors. A special mention to Edwin, who was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. His warm hospitality really made us feel at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to Stay !

I recently stayed at Mary Land Homestay, and I was thoroughly impressed! The owner, Mr. Edwin, is extremely down-to-earth and always ready to help, even at odd hours. His property is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and easy to navigate. I also appreciated the local cab service provided by Mr. Arun, who was humble and helpful. What truly sets Mary Land Homestay apart is the warm hospitality and genuine care shown by Mr. Edwin. The location is also incredibly convenient, being very close to both airport terminals. Mostly beautiful stay at Trivandrum Absolutely calm and very peaceful atmosphere and tasty breakfast and Warm service with superb interior. The rooms are spacious, so there is no disturbance from nearby properties. Pool was neat and clean my children's are very much enjoyed . This place gives you a real homestay feel. Mr Edwin and his family was so so warm & welcoming and they treated us like their own family members . Sure it's value for money

This place is great, and very well run. We had an early flight, arriving at 4.30am, and owner arranged a taxi pick up from the airport, and a room for us to arrive to and sleep for a few hours, before we changed to the unit to stay for that night. They kindly provided a yummy breakfast for us the day we arrived and the next day, and the masala chai was outstanding! We are very lucky to experience two rooms - the smaller room and the large unit, and each were equally clean and comfy, with fabulous unique furnishings and art! The location near the airport was just what we wanted, and although shops and markets weren't within walking distance, they are an easy Uber ride away. The local church is very close (and beautiful, so worth a visit), so can be noisy early in the morning, but welcome to India! Bring earplugs and you will be fine.

The location is perfect, just a short distance from the beach. Edwin is incredibly helpful--when I arrived early, he made sure I could check in without any hassle. The breakfast was delicious and definitely hit the spot. It's a very family-friendly place, but I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Trivandrum for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We returned to stay at Mary Land Homestay for 12 nights from 12 to 24 February 2025 after a very successful visit in 2024. We were delighted with the quality of the accommodation and the breakfasts were superb. Edwin Shaw was, once again, a great help in organising trips and assisting with travel arrangements. We highly recommend Mary Land to other travellers. We will return soon!!

My friend and I stayed here and had a lovely time. The hosts Edwin and Ashley were very flexible with our changing needs (timing changes and letting us leave our bags there, etc.) which we really appreciated. They were very kind and helped us make plans. The room was super clean and comfortable! The best part was the super cute seating area out front and the close proximity to a beautiful beach.

I had a wonderful stay with my family at Maryland last week. The villa was neat and tidy with impeccable service. Hosts Edwin and his wife were very friendly who were always there to provide any kind of service and make the stay very enjoyable. The food was delicious and the location was very close to Trivandrum Airport and the beach. Thank you so much for hosting us. Highly recommended. As it was summer in Kerala, the air condition in the rooms (especially second floor) was not effective during the day as the room was enclosed by glass panels. This apart I have nothing bad to say about our stay.
