Vijaya Varma Beach Resort

We stayed for 3 days at Vijaya Varma and enjoyed our time very much. The balcony and the view are simply amazing. Daniel at the reception is a very intelligent guy and very accommodating and friendly. He tries to fulfill the wishes of the guests. The room is simple, but fulfills what you need. The bed was comfortable. For the price you pay, everything was satisfactory. The beach is a 3 minute walk away

A true hidden gem! This lovely little hotel offered everything I needed , comfortable, and right across from the quietest bay. Waking up to the sound of the waves and sipping coffee with an ocean view was absolute bliss. The staff were super kind and welcoming, making the stay feel easy and relaxed. Perfect spot if you're looking for simplicity, charm, and a beautiful setting. Would absolutely return!

I had such a pleasure staying here. The location is perfect. It was pretty quiet and located near the beach where I could hear sound of the waves. Small private beach a few minutes walking distance and otherside the main beach, shops and restaurants. The room was really cozy with most amazing balcony view facing to the ocean. Stuff was helpful and polite. I will stay again.

We were very well welcomed. The staff was extremely attentive. The rooms are perfect, clean with all you need even a balcony you can relax and watch the sea for a decent Price . The location is close the Beach, the restaurants, the coffees, the bus. We recommand.

I really loved the room. The view from the bed to the private hotel beach is unique and indeed private! I felt like i am the luckiest one to have this room. Spent much time during day and night on the balcony enjoying the quietness, only thing is i could hear the waves crash. So beautiful. The main beach is reachable in less than 5 minutes, too. Stayed at Vijay's Varma resort for 2 and a half weeks while having a Panchakarma detox at the Ayur Kerala clinic. The staff were the nicest, most helpful and caring people and attentive to any request of the guests. The AC room overlooking the beautiful (yet very dangerous) beach, were basic but clean and comfortable and very big and comfortable. I recommend not to include meals, as the very near beach has a variety of different great restaurants that are much better. The two guys managing the resort will help with planning travels, taxis, tours and any other needs. They are just great!

Great sea view from the room balcony. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Easily accessible and budget friendly within the city!. Great hotel to stay !!!! Just go for it.

Horrible place. It was not even on kovalam beach. The view from the balcony was good, but the bathroom was not up to standard, we ordered paid breakfast and the food was cold and tasteless. Value for money was completely unacceptable. People working there were very good and helpful, but the owner was too tight with his offer.
