THE OCEAN PARK BEACH RESORT

I'm very unhappy with the facilities provided for the cost of the property. It doesnt even deserve 2k for the facility provided. They charged us 3500 for the room without AC. For early check-in and AC they charged us 800 more. Totally we paid 4300 rupees and it was never worth for a day stay. AC didn't cool properly, The washroom sink got blocked after washing hands, even if we complained the staff, they neglected to get it repaired due to non availability of plumber. We had to call the staff multiple times due to non availability of hot water, we had to wait for hot water till night 8pm and our outing plans got cancelled. Staff was very rude to us. They provided 2rs clinic plus shampoos and 10rs medimix soap. Totally worst. This property doesn't even deserve to take so much money. They are fooling people with more cost and not providing good facility. I never recommend this stay to anybody. So anybody planning to stay here, please consider this review. You got too good stays nearby at cheaper cost than this property.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Ocean Park Beach Resort, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable.

We discovered this hotel through the Booking.com app and chose a deluxe room with a sea-view balcony. However, the reality was entirely different. The parking was not near the hotel, we were assigned a room on the 3rd floor with no elevator access, and the balcony view was of a slum area. The bathroom was in poor condition, and the overall room quality was significantly different from the reference pictures provided. There was a huge difference between what was promised and what was delivered. We hope to address this issue and receive compensation for the inconvenience caused. Sincerely, [Your Name]

This is our worst hotel experience in our entire Kerala trip of 8 days where we had changed 4 hotels. We discovered this hotel from Google and after seeing the room pictures/views on their website which are so beautiful, we chose a 2 deluxe rooms with a partial sea-view balcony. However, the reality was entirely different. The parking was not near the hotel, we were assigned rooms on the 3rd floor with no elevator access, and the balcony view was of a slum area & construction site. 1. No telephone or contact no. was given in the rooms to connect to the reception. For any issue we have to go to the ground floor from 3rd floor by stairs as no lift access was there. 2. Towels provided were old and unclean with paan/tobacco marks on it. One towel was like kitchen towel provided to us. 3. The bed was full of red ants. 4. The overall room quality was significantly different from the reference pictures provided. There was a huge difference between what was promised and what was delivered. 5. In one room that was allotted to us had broken flush and no water in both the rooms. After addressing the issue, they started water motor which took long time and was not functioning properly. 5. There was no in house restaurant facility available. 6. Manager was too rude and did not provide any support for changing the room and was asking for additional cost to be paid. My travel agent also requested him for the refund but he refused it completely. 7. Due to all this, our whole one day was spoiled with so much stress and behaviour of the hotel manager as we finally have to shift to another hotel. They are a big cheat and ideally, as per the Tourism rules, these kind of cheats should be reported with the State Tourism Authority also so that such type of cheats can be handled and state name is not spoiled. I will take this up with the Kerala Tourism Authority with all the videos and pics I have and hope to receive the compensation for the so much inconvenience/stress is caused with the family & kids and my Kerala trip was spoiled. Overall, cannot even rate 1 out of 5 star. Very very poor service, do not recommend this hotel at all!

The Ocean Park Beach Resort offers basic accommodation with great views and a spacious balcony right on the beach. While the location is fantastic, the service could definitely improve. It feels more like a lodge than a full-fledged resort, which might be a bit disappointing if you're looking for upscale amenities. Overall, it's a decent spot for a short stay if you prioritize the beach access over luxury.

Horrible place. My cab had to stop 500m before the hotel as the road is too narrow. I had to carry my luggage to the hotel. No sea view at all. Food was just very bad.

There is no entry for private cabs until 500m from the lodge (because it cannot be called a hotel), due to which we had to carry our own luggage in rains till the hotel. There was just 1 small guy who had come to help. 2. No toileteries are provided and the towels were also unclean. 3 The room that was alloted to us had broken flush. The changed room did not have pillows and blankets. The blanket that was later provided was very thin like a bedsheet. 4. The room was full of red ants which spoiled our luggage too. 5. There is no in house restaurant facility available. Overall, cannot even rate 1 out of 5 star. Very poor service, do not recommend this hotel at all!

Great view, near to lighthouse.. very quite and spacious rooms..clean.. big balcony. Not a resort per say, but an appartment kind..
