Rock 'n' Beach

Very nice service given by staff members. Staff is very co operative considered us as family members. In room is very good cleanliness and also having nice sea face balcony. Room size is also comfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Rock N Beach in Kovalam, and I highly recommend it. From the moment we arrived,we were impressed by the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the hotel. The rooms were spotless, and the entire property had a welcoming, fresh feel that made me feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the buffet breakfast. There was such a good variety of dishes, catering to all tastes, and everything was absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and plenty of options - it set the perfect tone for the day. The vibes at the hotel were so positive, and I have to mention about the friendly and attentive staff. From the front desk to the restaurant crew, everyone was so warm and eager to ensure we had a comfortable experience. The management clearly puts a lot of effort into making guests feel valued. The location is another big plus. The hotel is just a short walk away from the beach, which made it super easy to enjoy the beautiful ambience and surroundings whenever we wanted. The Seaview rooms were particularly amazing - waking up to the sound of the waves and stunning ocean views was an unforgettable experience. For families, this hotel is a gem. It's very family-friendly, with ample space, great amenities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. I'm already looking forward to our next visit with friends- this is easily one of the best hotels I've stayed at in the Kovalam area! Specially in the thiruvananthapuram city. Make sure to book in advance for a group booking too. Highly recommended.

Rooms are good with a great view of sea. Location is 2mins away from Kovalam beach. Staff is friendly. Parking is available. Only if they had a kitchen, it would have been a great stay. There are good restaurants around so it wasn't that bad.

For a budget hotel this was surprisingly good. The room was excellent, modern, large, airy & very clean: the fact that the attractive curtains needed partially putting back on the rail didn't really matter! The door to the room was located along an open walk way which had views over the Arabian Sea as had the spacious balcony, so one could watch the spectacular sunset. The bathroom was clean & functional & the air con worked well. The bed was large & very comfortable & our sheets were changed daily.||The restaurant was unattractive, long & narrow like a railway carriage & it seemed that most people ate in their rooms. The food was ok & improved during our stay, but eating is never a problem with so much choice nearby.||The staff didn't have much English, were clearly unused to many European guests & seemed poorly trained but were helpful & very keen to get things right.||The hotel is right at the very top of Cardiac Hill, hence the very good views, so it is a steep walk down to the beach & unless you're very fit a tuktuk ride back. ||Yes, there are smarter, more luxurious places to stay & lots of choice in the area: but we were comfortable, happy & felt at home & would stay there again without hesitation.
