KERALA HOUSE BEACH RESORT

Location : right in front of the beach Food: very good and tasty / reasonable Staff: very friendly and helpful. Nitin specially is so kind and cheerful. Rooms are very spacious, they have AC, Fridge, kitchen for who wants to cook. There's also a hammock which I personally liked so much outside the rooms. Rooms are very clean. Water is very fresh and hot water facilities are also available. Overall, it's a very good hotel at a very good price. Total thumbs up

The hotel is near by the Kovallam Beech and is in the nice location. It's a budget accomodation. The rooms were clean and spacious. The wifi was good and hot water facility was available. The location and outside sitting area is also good. One can ask for food delivery as well and they will pick it up from nearby restaurant as well. The only drawback is that they don't have their own parking and you need to park your car about 100m away from the hotel by paying an amount of 60 ruppees per day.

Very nice and excellent in house services. Near to beach (Just 50 m from the resort). Very humble manager (Mr. Manu) and staff (Mr. Aji). Good place to stay for long days. Kitchenette is also available for those who are vegetarian. Big and spacious rooms with balcony. This is a must stay place at kovalam.

Unfortunately my room, right next to the little office, had major problem of dampness you could feel it and smell it. It was dark. The room has a door next to the bed which communicates to next room. So no privacy. First night was a mosquito hunting, I was eaten alive. 2nd night I still killed a few. In the morning the neighbour's had a business call about 7am so I couldn't sleep. 3rd night there was a major fight in the office next to my room police came and it was a bit surreal. A hotel is supposed to be quiet and peaceful. My experience was very disappointing especially considering I paid over US $100 for 3 horrible nights. If you decide to book go ahead and book just one night and check for yourself if you like it go ahead and stay. Plenty of options around.

This is one of the reasonably priced hotels at kovalam as a matter of fact I was able to book a premium room with AC and heater at price of 387. The property is at walkable distance from the beach. There is no separate parking. One can either park at the common parking lot near the beach entry or a paid parking lot nearby. It is bit difficult to spot this hotel from the beach walk way. Room was clean. Sound insulation was poor and you will get disturbed by the TV next door for sure.

Very fine hotel rooms. Situated very close to the lighthouse beach. Reasonable room price. Friendly receptionist. Room neatness is very good. Bed and pillow is very clean. It would be a best choice if you like to stay in light house beach. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere around the outside area of room. Little greenish garden in front of hotel.

Unprofessional attitude of owner and staff. No proper beds and toiletries. No parking facility. But hotel is very near to beach. Will recommend only if you want just a sleep over.

I booked the hotel more than a week back, but the TV is not working and their excuse is that there is a network issue.. It is jot their issue but it is tata skys issue.. Then the geyser is not working.. Again this is not their issue.. It is the issue with the Engineer who did not come to repair it and not their issue.. The owner basically believes in fooling around people rather than doing something and This is very rare in Kerala..
