Munnar Tea Hills Resort

The stay at Munnar T-Hill Resort was pretty decent and the location is genuinely good with scenic views. However, our overall experience was let down by the behavior of the manager, who was extremely rude and unhelpful. Our car got damaged while trying to reach the resort (which is located at a steep point), and when we requested help with transportation, the manager bluntly refused and told us we had to come in our own vehicle. What's worse is that they had a shuttle vehicle that was being used for other customers, but still denied us assistance. The breakfast experience was also disappointing. Though breakfast starts at 8 AM, by 8:30 most of the items were already over. I understand there was a crowd, but the staff made no effort to refill the food items despite knowing the number of guests staying. It felt very poorly managed. Overall, the stay was okay, but the attitude of the manager and lack of proper service really affected our experience. Would recommend the resort only for the location, not for hospitality or service.

Extremely Disappointed - Do Not Recommend! I had high expectations from Munnar Tea Hill Resort based on the name, but it turned out to be a complete letdown. First of all, there is no tea hill in sight -- it's incredibly misleading. The location is not scenic at all, and the entire ambience is dull and uninspiring. The so-called "buffet" is a joke -- extremely limited food variety, and nothing tasted fresh or remotely good. It felt like a cheap meal being served at a premium price. Speaking of prices, the resort is massively overcharging for both rooms and food, with no value for money whatsoever. This place is nothing like what's shown in pictures or described online. Poor service, subpar facilities, and zero charm. Save your money and stay elsewhere -- not recommended at all.

Our group stay was truly amazing, thanks to the warm hospitality of the hotel staff and manager. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. The South Indian cuisine served was delightful and thoroughly enjoyed. The arrangements for the campfire and DJ were well-organized, adding to the experience. The rooms were impeccably clean, neat, and highly hygienic. We stayed in various room types, and every member of our group had a wonderful time. While there is no swimming pool, the property is ideal for couples and groups seeking a memorable stay.The roads leading to the stay are quite steep, making it inaccessible for large buses. Walking to the property can be a bit tiring.The hotel surrounding ambience is maintained beautifully.

We enjoyed this experience thoroughly. The rooms are well kept and give an amazing view. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was good. The location is a bit hard to reach as the road is steep. The Wifi connection was a bit poor in our room. We could visit all attractions in Munnar from here. They even have bonfire at Night sometimes. I would like to come back here again...

We stayed at this beautiful property on 3-May-25. Mr. Mani and team ensured our stay was comfortable. Restaurant has good spread of breakfast and in dinner buffet. Rooms were very neat and tidy. Property is on a hill top and you may feel little scary during night times. Only thing, which can improve is ambience of the property(i.e. needs a quick painting) and PLAY area. All play items are very old and needs replacement on immediately. Macofa Chocolate factory is just 9 mins and Punarjani Traditional Village (Kalaripayatu & Kathakali Fusion show) is just 20 mins walk from the property. Stay is recommended!

Overall stay at resort is good and worth the stay. Management should take care of kids play area and recreational area. Kids play area was not clean and amenities in recreation area needs a immediate changes.

Worst resort I have ever stay in my life. There is no option to have zero rating, that's why I select one star. Will not recommend anyone to stay in this resort. I didn't expect best quality in any of the resort I used to book, but most of the resorts in Munnar never disappoints my expectation except Munnar tea hill resort. Nothing to say more, don't believe the photos that they posted in their website. Probably it should be 10 years before.

It is attractive resort with chain cottages. The location is about 10 km away from city. Lookwise rooms are good with bedroom at upper floor, Living, pantry and toilets at Ground Floor. The biggest disadvantage is, for peeing at midnight need to comedown through stairs to ground floor and by this time ur sleep will vanish. Not recommended for elderly people. Complimentary breakfast is nice and the Manager Mr Mani is very cooperative. Parking, WiFi, Kettle, Heater etc and rest all is fine.
