The World Backwaters, Alleppey

Our stay, here, was such a nice experience, in many ways. |We really enjoyed the hotel, the pool and the breathtaking view !! |You will arrive in this peaceful place, to enjoy slow moments and quiet activities. |We felt like home thanks to the team, especially by the service at the restaurant. |They were all very attentive, kind and helpful. |The food created by the chef is very tasty and delicate. The breakfast, and dinner buffet are a banger !!! We are so happy we chose this hotel. You will not be disappointed!! |Thank you to the team, hope to see you again :)

View is great. Property was made beautifully however, they need better maintainance. Fan machine was shaking badly, we thought it would fall so we couldn't use it. Pigeons occupied our balcony, pooped everywhere. The room was not so clean. Staffs were very nice. We asked for cleaning, and they took the feedback very fast. We could see they wanted to provide the best out of it. It just needs some repairs, and better preparation before geusts come. Breakfast was amazing with nice view.

Our three-day escape to World Backwaters in May 2025 was pure bliss! Nestled right by the tranquil backwaters, the resort's location was simply stunning. We especially loved Cheenavala, the poolside restaurant, which not only served up a fantastic mix of familiar and international flavors but also offered breathtaking views. Chef Pratish truly impressed us by tailoring dishes to our preferences - a real treat! And the breakfast buffet is absolutely unmissable! It was a delightful spread of authentic Kerala dishes alongside North Indian and international options.|The magnificent pool was irresistible, and the peaceful evenings spent by the water, sipping tea and coffee while watching the sunset and the local fishing, were just perfect. Our family room was spacious, cozy, and incredibly comfortable, with just the right balcony views. We also had a blast cycling, playing badminton and archery, and exploring the games area, not to mention the charming and peaceful village walk.|For ultimate relaxation, the Ayurvedic spa massage is a must-do. I personally loved the soothing oil massage and steam treatment. I could honestly rave about this trip forever! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to World Backwaters to experience everything I didn't have time for this time around.

Don't hesitate and run to try this hotel !! You will receive the warmest welcome and the best service by the team. We specifically enjoyed so much the restaurant, mostly because the team is so nice. We had the chance to be served by Jomon, the chef and the others lovely gentlemen. They all work a lot to give the best to their customers and you can feel it. The place is charming, the view bring so much peace !

The staff here was amazingly welcoming and helpful. The rooms were also comfortable and the food here was absolutely delicious. The executive chef came out to talk with us during breakfast and he was kind too. I would say if you're thinking of staying here...PLEASE DO SO. Anyways thank you The World Backwaters for this amazing experience!

Our stay at The World Backwaters was truly memorable! The location is picture-perfect, right on the peaceful backwaters, offering incredible views from morning till sunset. What made it even better was how family-friendly the resort is. There were plenty of well-organized activities to keep our kids entertained -- they especially loved the pool. The food was delicious with a good mix of local flavors and kid-friendly options, which made dining a pleasure for the whole family. The staff were attentive and always ready with a smile.Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with great amenities and family-friendly charm! A special thank you to Mr. John, Mr.Aju , Ms. Ashwaty, the executive chef, and the entire team for arranging everything so beautifully and making us feel so welcome. Ambience, food, hospitality, facilities all are good. Highly recommended for family stay. This resort has a nice swimming pool. Kids will surely enjoy. The rooms are very neat. Staff is really good. Even the room service is top notch. Very nice stay

Awesome hospitality and a beautiful property! Food, outdoor games, swimming pool are excellent. Dinner at their resto bar was very spicy and we loved it. Only suggestion is to provide good fishing rods and baits to help us catching some fishes
