Sree Gokulam Fort Thalassery

Went there to attend a wedding reception. Small hall to accomodate one hundred guests. Food was simple and good. They have a parking for cars and mini buses just across the road

I recently tried a biryani that unfortunately missed the mark for me. The dish was overly sweet, likely due to the excessive caramelized onions and raisins. While these ingredients can add a nice depth of flavor, here they tipped the balance toward being too sugary. As for the sole fish, it was soft and fresh, which I appreciated, but the marination lacked salt, leaving it under seasoned. Overall, the dish had potential, but the flavor profile didn't quite come together as expected. The lunch meals were fine though

My stay on February 7th, 2025, was extremely disappointing due to exceptionally poor service. The receptionist, who didn't even know my name, abruptly demanded I move rooms, falsely claiming I'd been previously notified. This was untrue. I strongly advise potential guests to look elsewhere. Furthermore, the rooms are in poor condition, with stained bedsheets, yet the hotel charges premium prices comparable to a five-star establishment.

Good value for money. Comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Front desk staff P. Rajeesh (night) and R..Rajeesh (day) are courteous and maintain excellent hospitality attitude..

It is a budget acoomodation. I have booked sigke room. Was neat and clean, but maintenance was not at the level. Easy accessable from railway station

Immensely grateful to you for the hospitality extended to us on our stay. Your property is a perfect for the stay.The ambience is excellent. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. Reception staffs and the room boys was well behaved and willing to help. Breakfast was complimentary and the food was delicious.For sure, I shall always remember the experience and recommend the place to friends and relatives. A big thanks to the excellent service provided during the stay.

Had a bitter experience staying at Hotel Gokulam Fort, Thalassery. Rate charged was for Premium room;but facilities provided were hopeless and disappointing.There were no enough toiletries provided in the bath room which was also not maintained well or not properly cleaned.The Shower system was not working. There was smell of dust in the room. Can't believe if it's a Hotel managed by Gokulam Gopalan group...!!!

I had a really bad experience at this hotel. We came here as a part of a wedding. Around 8 to 10 rooms were booked at this hotel . The room we got was below average. The bathroom Is old and worn out. The do not clean the rooms properly. We saw cat paw marks in our bed and a cat had urinated on the center of our bed. We expected a professional approach from the receptionist instead he bashed at as claiming we are responsible for it. We requested for a room change. But the receptionist was reluctant and was not ready to give another room. He told us he would arrange to just change the sheets of the bed. After charging 2500 plus for a room they ask us to sleep in this horrible condition. Never expected this kind of service. We were adamant and not ready to sleep in that room and atlast they gave us another room. That room was even worse. The bed was very hard. It had no proper bed coverings. The soap stand in the bathroom was broken. I wonder how people book this hotel with this kind of pathetic service. This is the way they treat a wedding party who had booked 8 to 10 rooms, a banquet hall and food. The complementary food had very limited options and the arrangements were not good. We came to understand that there are not enough staffs to clean the room. As we climbed the steps to the second floor we saw old bedsheets piled up in corner of the floor. The night cleaning staff told us they only clean the bedsheets and all only if it gets too much dirty. The staffs at this hotel need proper training behave well with customers. Never experienced this kind of horrible condition from any hotel. Please do not book this hotel for any purpose.
