Hotel Victoria

Had to stay here without a choice as the rooms were booked by a friend who hosted their daughter's wedding. It's outdated in every aspect. No ceiling fans. AC didn't get cooler throughout. Bathroom were not clean. Beds and cot were damaged and had cockroach running around the room. Food wasn't cooked at the restaurant and was bought from outside . We didn't even want to try the food. Totally unsafe and worst hotel to stay esp with kids.

Positives first - the people working at the hotel are super awesome. Food at the restaurant is tasty as well. All the rooms have a view to the Arabian Sea. Plenty of negatives. The hotel is not maintained - things just don't work. There is no hot water facility at the hotel, the staff used to heat it in the kitchen and give it to me every day. The cleaning of rooms is done by demand and is not done daily. I had to stay with them while they did the cleaning which wasted plenty of my time. There is no JIO service in the area and the Wifi is terrible - it used to disconnect every few minutes.

Rooms are average with below average facilities- broken fan, no remote for AC, cleanliness is very very poor. Blankets had insects which didn't allow us to sleep. Also lot of mosquitoes. AC rooms had insects around. Though room was sea facing, the beauty was taken over by uncleanliness and dirt around.

avoid this place...footpath is better. What is Tallacherry municipality doing? How can a place this bad get operating license? Highlight was Cockroaches running on bed....pathetic.

Worst hotel. They should change their name to cockroach hotel Don't recommend to anyone

Only AC was working and good, rest all bad. No room service, no hot water, restaurant is bad. Only reason we stayed is we got fooled by photos they posted.

The place is really old and not that well maintained. Inside room was fine
