Great hosts, waited till I checked-in, late in the evening. Very clean room with neat linen, toiletries ( napkins/paper towels would've added brownies to the experience. Early morning coffee picked me up from my slumber, and the pleasant hospitality was worth writing home about. Ms Mary George, (Retired Teacher) was more of a mother than a HomeStay Host

Very clean,wonderful and serene homestay run by two elderly couple( Maria aunty/George uncle) they are very friendly, hospitable and aunty's food is so scrumptious out of this world. Mothu Vallyettan auto driver which our host managed for us was such a humble and good human being. Highly recommend to all the travellers who happen to come to Thalaserry(Kerala).

A perfect homestay with clean rooms and peaceful vibes. Hot water and wifi is there along with a facility to cook. Mary aunty and George uncle are the sweetest and the most helpful people on earth. I felt like I was staying at my parents home when I was here. Highly recommended.

Great place in Thalassery! In a quiet location, 5 minutes driving from the center . Spacious room with bathroom, clean and fresh. Mary and George are amazing! friendly, very helpful with everything and entertaining :) Definitely recommended.

This review is for Daffodil rooms which I understand is under the same owner and is just behind this. For Rs. 1150 per night per room, we were offered a very basic room - no toiletries (no soap/towels), no mirror in the room or even the bathroom which is super basic, no chair to sit in the room or the common area/hall too, no hot water facility ( no geyser or heating coil option too), no food on offer, there are no restaurants in the close proximity - atleast more than a km away, No option of having a simple morning tea as well. All these "No's" are super basic needs for a room which charges over a 1000. Of course no AC either. But for this price I don't expect it. But this place is in chonadam and far away from main thalassery town. So the owner should take note to provide these basic needs to customers who are paying Rs.1150/- I see from other reviews that hospitality were good. I might be unlucky, but the hosts weren't there in the locality and a neighbour handed over the keys to the rooms to us who was super busy to explain stuff and just said no to food,tea, hot water etc. Not the experience I thought I'll have looking at the other reviews. So another note to owners- if you're not available to help out customers, don't expect good feedback.

A clean homestay, friendly owners. Ambience is good. Mr. George and Mrs. Mary were fun to be with, it was as if i was staying with someone close to heart, were they my own people in my previous birth?

I am back here 28th August to the 1st September 24 I stayed here from the 29th Feb 2024 to 3rd March 2024, AMAZING Mr and Mrs George, absolutely fantastic homestay, chirpy birds, clean place, FANTASTIC food, and easy access. Couldn't ask for more, and cannot expect more. Thanks Mr and Mrs George Absolutely amazing

A lovely place to stay - a clean room, delicious food and good value! The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed eating with them and learning some things about life and food in Kerala!
