This place is perfect for a nature escape. It's far enough from the city to feel really secluded. The breakfast spread was pretty decent, enough to fuel you for a day of exploring. The sunset trek was definitely a highlight. Such amazing views! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Overall, a great experience.

We have stayed at The Tea Tree three times, and each visit has been an amazing experience! The hotel offers a beautiful ambience with well-maintained, comfortable rooms that make for a relaxing stay. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming, always going the extra mile to ensure guests feel at home. The breakfast is excellent, with a variety of delicious options to start the day right. One of the best parts of the stay is the breathtaking mountain view, which adds to the peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. Overall, we are very happy with our experiences at The Tea Tree and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and scenic getaway!

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were welcoming and professional. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities provided. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient throughout my stay. The balcony had a beautiful view to mount and nature. The restaurant offered a decent variety of dishes, and the quality of food was good, though a bit more variety in the breakfast buffet would've made it better. The location is convenient, close to the major attractive points. Overall, it's a great place for both business and leisure travelers. Would definitely recommend and consider staying again.

I stayed at Tea tree last week for two nights and it was a unforgettable experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Smooth check-in and check-out process, clean and tidy spacious rooms, on site restaurant, camp fire and more. The scenic view of the Munnar hills from the room is gorgeous. The hospitality of the people there is exceptional. They took me to local attractions , to some hill tops nearby, the view was breath taking. Special thanks to Jobin, for his exceptional service. Tea tree is definitely the place I'll we staying at again in future.

My recent stay at the Tea tree resort was nothing short of magical! Most of the reviews you see are fake. There was no warm welcome when we arrived. Only 2-3 staff members are handling everything like welcoming guests, check-in, check-out, room service, cooking, serving food, and cleaning. Because of this, room service is very slow and they even brought the wrong food to our room. Food quality is not that great. Breakfast was little better Food options are very limited. For dinner, you must place your order by 4:30 pm, and they buy vegetables based on that. They don't provide lunch at all. The hot water service is also not good. The only good things are the nice view from the balcony and the rooms are good.

A Disastrous Stay at TeaTree Resorts: Avoid at All Costs After our recent experience at TeaTree Resorts in Suryanelli, Munnar, I feel compelled to warn others about this establishment that fails on nearly every level of hospitality. Arrival Nightmare Our group's troubles began before we even arrived. When we called at noon to arrange lunch for our party of 12 adults and 5 children, we were abruptly informed that lunch service ends at 11 AM--an absurd policy I've never encountered at any reputable resort. Upon arrival at 2:30 PM, not a single staff member offered to help with our extensive luggage. Instead of the peaceful mountain retreat promised, we were greeted by blaring music from a festival next door that continued until 11 PM, making rest impossible. Severe Understaffing Crisis The root of many problems appears to be critical understaffing. Only 2-3 employees attempt to manage everything--reception, room service, cooking, serving, and cleaning. This skeleton crew was overwhelmed and unprepared. The results were predictably disastrous: wrong food delivered to our room, excruciatingly slow service, and a general atmosphere of disorganization. Accommodation and Amenities Issues While the rooms themselves were decent with nice balcony views, fundamental amenities failed. We discovered no hot water upon arrival and had to wait for someone to address this basic necessity. Numerous electrical outlets in the rooms didn't function at all. Most concerning were the safety hazards--several areas along the property's edge presented dangerous fall risks for children with inadequate protection. Restrictive and Poor Food Service The dining situation was particularly frustrating. The resort essentially offers no lunch service. Dinner requires placing orders by 4:30 PM so staff can purchase ingredients--revealing their lack of basic inventory. Food quality was mediocre at best, with extremely limited options. Only breakfast showed any redeeming qualities. Access Problems Even reaching the resort is problematic. The approach roads are in terrible condition with broken sections that make arrival in larger vehicles like our Urbania bus unsafe and difficult. Deceptive Online Presence Most troubling is the disconnect between online reviews and reality. The glowing reviews that led us to book this resort must be fabricated, as our experience revealed none of the warmth or quality suggested online. After enduring just one night of this ordeal, our entire group made the unanimous decision to abandon our planned two-day stay and relocate to another resort--despite the inconvenience and additional expense. I cannot emphasize strongly enough: save yourself the disappointment and frustration. There are numerous other accommodations in the beautiful Munnar region that understand the basics of hospitality. TeaTree Resorts demonstrated a profound failure to provide even the minimal standards expected of a lodging establishment. This was, without question, the worst resort experience I've ever had.

Very very disappointing stay at Tea tree resort.we booked this solely based on reviews and understood that it's all fake. There were no one to help with luggage's upone arrival . After a hectic journey there were no welcome drink or anything. They have a zero lunch policy which was shocking for us.we travelled with 2 infants and 3 toddlers, Room service was poor . Wrong food items were delivered . And for dinner we had to inform the menu around 4.30 pm so that they will go buy Theepa groceries.it was a nightmare and disheartening experience. They spoiled our vacation and we left the resort next day morning. Only good thing is the view and breakfast was okay .
