ZIEON HILLS RESORTS AND RESTAURANTS

We have booked the place for an over night stay as per the pictures provided by "ZIEON HILLS RESORTS AND RESTAURANTS". The pictures given while searching for the location is really old and the condition of the place is given below in pictures. A worm was seen on the bedsheet provided the rest is in the pictures below.

Visited a few months back. This is basically an average restaurant with 2-3 regular rooms adjacent to it. I really wonder why they call it a resort and why people give such high rating. The windows of the room we stayed in didn't even have grills and we were a bit scared in the night to be honest. The lady owner is a nice person but the place itself is nothing more than average restaurant you come across anywhere in Idukki. Food taste is ok

Taste of the food is fine.. But the quantity and quality of the food is really terrible.. The photo shows the amount of food color present in the curries. I would highly recommend to think twice before having food from there.

We just had a tea there. That was ok. Tables were wiped, but there were wipe marks. The seats are very spacious

We came to zioen for 2 days vacation and stayed at Zieon. It was an excellent stay with great people. Alphpnsa aunty has treated us like their own family member and provided very hygienic food. She made our stay very comfortable. Food quality was awesome and very cheap too. People visit Ramakalmedu, kumili must stay in Zieon to experience great food and hospitality. Staffs were also too good.

Best place to relax if you are going to ramakkalmedu. Because it only takes 3 minutes drive from here. Better for groups, students, and big family Not a ideal choice for small family You will get lots of power plugs to charge your mobile phone and camera The water have some yellowish color when I visit there. 7 bathroom, and out door relaxing points The food was Okey . Not good enough like Malabar. It was good compared to other restaurants. They need to improve it. Better order vegetarian. Because non veg is not good enough.

Morning we went there ,this place was near to road, but very calm and the rooms were so clean and sanitized , and there were lot of view point near by to visit, the lady over there was really good to us, they arranged every thing we needed , more than this food was really yummy! At evening they have arranged a camp fire for us, and we all enjoyed dancing around the fire with the music, it was a great evening and had so much fun

Good place to stay when visiting Ramakkalmedu. *Room* They have dormitory and private rooms. The dormitory is meant for large groups. So if you go solo then avoid booking it as this is not a shared bed system like in Zostel. In booking.com you might find th dormitory available to book for 600 per night, but it's a mistake in the site. So would suggest to go with private room in case of only one person. Rooms are clean and tidy. Same with washroom and toilet. They have heater in the bathroom. Also the room have a fan and TV for entertainment *Food* They provide all meals. I had dinner from there, the menu had biriyani, fried rice, chappathi, chicken curry, beef curry and veg kurma. I had chappathis and chicken curry. Curry was tasty but there was less meat and felt not worth the price given the quantity. When I asked one of the guy he said this is the quantity that being served here. Chappathi was soft and well cooked. They said they could provide lunch or breakfast if said beforehand. *Staff* The lady caretaker who takes care of it is really nice and helpful. She recommended me the places to visit, helped with arranging the room befor check-in. *Things to note* Try to contact them if you are booking room via Booking.com. when I visited they're not aware of my booking as booking.com didn't notify them about it. Also they don't provide free breakfast (as opposed to mentioned in the booking.com) and have to pay for each meal. Also the number provided in booking.com and gmaps where not correct. I hope they will correct it.
