I had been to Poovar island resort for a day cation package to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Very happy with the service they have offered. The resort is maintained very well and the day cation package offers a lot of activities as a part of it. The buffet lunch was also very good with several items on the menu. Evening snacks were not so great compared to the lunch but the view from the kappa cafe was great. The boat ride to and from the resort was also good fun.

Me and my friends visited here for a day out package. The place is really beautiful and the staff are very hospitable and welcoming. The food included with our package was buffet and I looooooved the food. There is a pool facility which we can use while wearing the prescribed dress. I loved the experience and the scenic beauty of the premises. Thanks for making our day memorable Poovar Island Resort Team.

Disappointing Experience During Company Outing I recently visited this property again as part of a company outing, but unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing this time. There were numerous unreasonable restrictions and unexpected rules that affected the overall enjoyment of the day. The food quality was very poor--despite being promised three non-vegetarian dishes, we were only served two. The fish curry lacked both spice and salt, and the chicken curry was undercooked. The attitude of the staff and management was unwelcoming and unprofessional, which further soured the experience. Based on this visit, it's safe to say that this will likely be our team's last outing at this property, and I wouldn't consider returning even for a personal trip.

Rooms with lizards and lots of bee Checkout service in just 10 second But if you order water it's comes to minimum 15-20 min And also not a friendly resort Not access beach Pickup boat is very small we can't fit our legs in sheet and also not have any air circulation in boat It's very hot Welcome is good (just one thing i like)

Good resort with lot of things to explore.No direct access by road. We have to park and use their boat to reach the resort. Areas for improvement-food and toilets. Activities inside the resort are chargeable.Lot of space to roam around and good swimming pool.

What a beautiful place! Very calm and green and so close to nature! The 15 minutes ferry ride to reach the hotel is also very mesmerising! Loved everything about our stay here! Very refreshing!

Overall had a good experience. But the food and drinks were not upto the mark. Only alcohol available are beer and wine and they are exorbitantly priced. The management probably procures good quality fresh material for the meals and the menu also is extensive. However the preparations can definitely do with massive improvements. The resort would do better by hiring better quality chef(s) by cutting down on the number of security guards!
