I recently had the pleasure of staying at Windale Resorts near Pooppara, and it was a truly refreshing experience. Nestled amidst lush greenery and hills, the location is absolutely stunning--perfect for those looking to disconnect and relax. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding valley. The staff were incredibly courteous and helpful throughout our stay, making sure we were comfortable at all times. The food was good, with a decent variety of dishes. The infinity pool was a highlight--perfectly placed with a scenic backdrop. We also enjoyed the bonfire night, which added a warm and cozy touch to the evenings. One thing to note: the road leading to the resort is quite steep and narrow, so it's best to plan your travel accordingly. But once you're there, the peaceful ambiance and fresh mountain air make it all worthwhile. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone seeking a calm and nature-filled escape.

Very nice rooms and service provided. If you're looking for a secluded stay amidst nature and good views from the balcony, this will be a very good choice. The staff were very helpful end to end and the food was tasty and economical. The hospitality was great, highly recommended.

A hidden gem in the mountains. Rooms are clean, spacious with sitting/dining area, bedroom with the softest bed I have found in India, dressing room area and bathroom. The private balcony overlooks the valley with the sun setting over the mountains...|We swam in their spotless infinity pool, walked around the gardens, ordered food that was delivered to our room and ate out on our balcony to the sounds of nature.|Food was delicious and very reasonably priced.|Best nights sleep ever!|Breakfast was served in their restaurant beneath the rooms over looking the hills as the sun rose.

Again they went out of their way to accommodate our early departure with the chef starting work early just for us. The food served is extremely tasty without being over spiced, all credit to the chef! All in all, Windale with their attentive and helpful staff is a MUST when in the Munnar mountains. There are 10 rooms, all with private balconies overlooking the valley making this perfect for a group booking as well couples looking for a getaway. Can not fault the place..... we will visit again!

Reaching out this place from the main road is very challenging and you should have the best driving skills either for a car or bike since you have to ride over steep slopes. Apart from this it was a pleasant stay at this resort. There are a few things that need to be improved like buffet breakfast and food ordering time for dinner. The swimming pool is clean and I enjoyed the panoramic view.

Excellent!! Initially i was regretting booking outside the Munnar town, later it became a blessing. Me and my wife stayed here for couple of days and had a great experience. Paul made us feel like home, he has the utmost sense of customer centric mindset and treats guest very well, he even guided us to many places. Food is also really good, they dont have huge menu, but limited items cooked well and affordable too. Beautiful view from your balcony as well from the cafeteria. I found most of the places to visit are nearby, even Paul helped me to get in touch with Jeep safari folks for our Kulukumalai visit. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Thanks for hosting us.
