Mango County Resort

Very bad and poor informative service. They don't disclose the full cost estimates. After giving advance they said that 6500 extra is for the room. Secondly one room is for two adults and one child etc etc. we just cancelled the programme and we didn't get the refund also. Once they are this business everything should be transparent and all details should be disclosed to the customer before taking advance. Very bad experience.

We stayed in Mango County for a day with our whole family. The atmosphere and surroundings were wonderful, and the resort itself was beautiful. The staff were attentive, dedicated, and quick to assist, which we truly appreciated. However, maintenance was a major issue. The washrooms had cockroaches and spiders, making it quite uncomfortable. The closets were blocked, and the play area was not cleaned. The overall upkeep of the resort needs serious attention. If maintenance is not improved, it could make the stay stressful for guests. I hope the management takes action, as the place has great potential.

Just went for get-to-gather with my bros. Silent environment, nearby small water dam view is good. Need outdoor maintenance. Small swimming pool, but ok. Variety of dogs also there and Ducks too. Cycles are there to roam. Only the way to reach the resort is narrow.

If you want to take a break from the hustle bustle of city life, this is one place you must visit. Very quiet , Serene landscape with Bharata puzha beside. ||We saw several peacocks , peahen and some ducks & goose within the resort .||The staff here are very friendly and cooperative. Chef Basanth was very pleasing and prepared very good food to suit our taste and preference.||The children play area needs maintenance .||I had booked the Tree house, but the AC was not functioning and shifted to Premium room which was comfortable. ||This place is also ideal for private parties, celebration and corporate events.

Tried to book on this weekend. There is no transperency at all. The staff who attend the call have no manners and disconnected the phone during conversation. Also for day out they won't allow any rooms. We have to baer the heat and sweat of all Palakkad. So if we want to have a room we have to pay extra 6500 that too for 2 adults and 2 children. So if we are all adults we have to take seperate rooms . They didn't mention while booking. Also no refund for cancellation.very disappointed

Food was splendid. We had dinner and breakfast at the property which was served in fantastic taste. Special mention to the Chef.Vinod. Rooms were good..River view from the view just made our stay there most remarkable and peaceful. Thanks for the wonderful arrangement and coordination to the team.

Visited Mango County Resort recently, and while the location has great potential, the overall experience left much to be desired -- especially for a day package. We were welcomed with a watermelon juice, which honestly could have been better. Something more refreshing or with options would've made a nicer first impression. We were then taken on a tour of the property, which includes plenty of mango trees, a small pond for pedal boating, a swimming pool, a restaurant, cycling paths, and indoor games. The resort is located right next to the scenic Bharatapuzha river, which offers a beautiful natural backdrop. Now, onto the reality of the experience: Cycling: Poorly maintained. The first cycle I tried had a loose seat, and others had no brakes or torn seats. Indoor Games: Very disappointing. The foosball table was broken, the carrom board had no striker, the pool table lacked sticks, and the air hockey table was covered in dust. Pedal Boat: Only one boat available, and it moves in reverse -- not functional at all. Pondside Seating: Dirty and not maintained. You're better off not sitting there. Restaurant: The only well-maintained part of the resort. However, they don't take live orders -- only pre-ordered meals or items included in the package are served. For 1000 per head, the package included just two veg and two non-veg items. Definitely not worth the price. They also have a section with a variety of dogs -- around 10 different breeds kept in kennels. While it may seem like a nice attraction at first, it felt more like animal cruelty. Breeds like the Saint Bernard and Husky, which require cold environments, were kept in non-AC kennels with just fans -- clearly unsuitable for their needs. They also have plenty of ducks roaming around. Overall, the place lacks proper upkeep and feels more like a missed opportunity. Other than the scenery and the restaurant, there's not much to enjoy. Would not recommend this resort for a day package. Definitely not value for money.

Nice place.. Nice nature sorroundings and clean air.. Nice to relax with family or couple. Activities area needs some maintanance. Looks like it had its glorious days once. Play area need to be maintained for children. Water to be filled around the boat restaurant for the ambience. Nice friendly service by staffs. Very warm staff. Hats off to them.. Reception, restaurant staff very hospitable. Stayed from 13th Jan to 15th 2025.
