Castle Residency

The female receptionist & house keeper were excellent and tried there level best to assist within their means. The lift does not work at all therefore we had to climb up and down 3 flights of stairs even to get to the restaurant to have a cup of coffee, tea or have a meal which was rather disappointing, considering the fact that we had all meals etc on the run. All in all I would NOT recommend this residency to any older Australians as it is not at all user friendly in addition to the language barrier.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Castle Residency, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for a casual and enjoyable evening. PLANNING TO STAY HERE ? THIS REVIEW IS FOR YOU NOT TO REGRET LATER. This is just a BAR. This place may be great for a drink and a side but never ever consider this as a place to stay. THIS PLACE HAS NO RIGHT TO CALL IT AS A 3 STAR OR EVEN 1 STAR HOTEL, a lodge would be better than this. This is the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. I had to attend a function in a nearby place, found this place in google maps and booked 3 rooms this hotel for a one night stay. The receptionist was nice over the phone as if they were full of bookings and got the rooms confirmed. The real horror started once I reached there late at night. The place had no lights outside and just a street light. There were a group of drunkards on the road and we were just afraid to get out of the car. There was no receptionist, just one drunk guy who just handed me three keys and left and the only man available there was the watchman. The watchman was drunk till his neck and was trying hard to stand steady. He guided us to the rooms on the first floor and second. There was NO LIFT in this 3 star property, no lights in the corridor, and the stairway was filthy. WHEN WE ASKED FOR A BOTTLE OF WATER TO THE WATCHMAN, HE SHOWED ME THE RUNNING WATER FROM THE WASH ROOM TAP AND SAID WE ARE DRINKING THIS, something I will never forget in my life. I reached this place very late and I didn't had the option to travel further and find another place, else I would have left there that night itself. I tried calling the reception numbers available and no was picking up the call. There is no family restaurant within, just different types of bars located in every floor. Never get fooled by the pics on the internet, that are a decade old ones. GOOGLE DONT HAVE THE OPTION FOR NEGATIVE RATING HENCE GIVING THE LEAST ONE STAR.

Service is pathetic.Nobody comes to take the order.We came here after covering 15km,but the service was very poor .we have received this several times.. waiter named "Joice" made the payment to his own gpay account for touch & food and the service was very pathetic. Sometimes the bill was wrong, he was trying to take the advantage of the customer.

The food is good. The service is nice. Bug the washroom is far away from the dining area. We have to cross the main entrance area to reach the washroom from dining room. The first floor has a VIP bar. Also a common bar in a corner. It is hard to find. There is a good parking area for about 5 cars.

I seldom had an issue with the service quality like what happened two days before. A group came in to executive bar and started singing and chatting loudly. Felt like I was in a local toddy shop. What's even worse is that even after informing the receptionist, he didn't even do a thing to shut them up! Came home, left a message for the management - no avail. Food and service are great but the dimwits there ruined the ambience and hence the whole experience. Premium space should be maintained premium.

A good place to stay. you may see less maintenance, but the facility offers rest all that you need to make your stay comfortable. good food at the bar.
