My husband and I had an incredible two-week stay at Paro Homestay near Ashtamudi Lake. Everything about this place was perfect--one of the best stays we've ever had! The cottage was cozy, well-maintained, and offered breathtaking views of the lake. Waking up to the serene water and peaceful surroundings every day was truly special. The hosts were welcoming and ensured a comfortable experience throughout our stay. If you're looking for a beautiful, relaxing retreat in nature, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this homestay, and we must say it was an incredibly pleasant experience. From the moment We arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The host was incredibly friendly , SPECIAL THANKS to our Murali Chettan and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met throughout our stay. The property itself was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. It felt like a home away from home ! The room I stayed in was cozy, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed, including a soft bed, ample storage space, and a lovely view. The shared spaces were equally comfortable, and it was easy to unwind in the peaceful atmosphere of the homestay. One of the highlights of my stay was the The location was also perfect--close to local attractions yet tucked away enough to feel serene and relaxing. Their CALM & HUMBLE service were top notch , not to FORGET !! I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and authentic experience. Posting this on behalf of my husband Mr Melvin, Well, I was searching for a space for the guest's for my wedding ,engagement and bachelor's party, and most of the properties in kollam is either short on scenery or cleanliness, but paro was perfect in each and every aspect. Let start first with owner and caretaker, they were super friendly and professional , they made arrangements for the grill, and they can arrange breakfast, lunch and dinner for small pax as per requirements if needed, the full property has I think close to 20 bed space with additional extra beds. Amenities like dinner plates , drinking glass was super clean and good quality ones, purified water was available. Also The property is big enough to conduct functions like destination weddings, reception and get together parties with parking space and a tent sufficient for a small party

Other than the location near the lakeside... spacious ... nothing impressive to say. Not maintained like other resorts as I felt. So much to be improved.To be invested in providing proper Infrastructure. Nothing much to say. Average..that's it. I participated in Bankers Union on 12th Jan 2025. And I put only what I felt from my experience and review...not polished like others... Concerned person must take negetive feedback also happily to improve more(added for reply to the concerned)Thanks

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Paro homestay nestled in the enchanting backwaters of Kerala, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the boating trip through the nearby mangrove forests. Drifting along the serene waterways, surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature, was a magical experience. Absolutely incredible stay at this backwater Homestay! "The Paro". The serene surroundings and stunning views made for the perfect escape. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, ensuring every need was met. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and offered a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. We loved exploring in the backwaters. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax and unwind. Overall, this Home stay exceeded all expectations.
