The food for the event was arranged by us, even though they had in-house caterers, and everything went smoothly. The two in-house restaurants also served delicious meals, and the catering for the guests staying at the hotel was top-notch and well appreciated. The hotel had ample parking, which was a huge plus, and the staff service was exceptional--professional, friendly, and attentive to all our needs. We had booked two rooms at Skanda for our guests to rest during our stay. Unfortunately, one of our guests had an accident and fell. However, Mr. Raveendran from Skanda management went above and beyond to ensure they received the best care. He swiftly coordinated transportation and reached out to his contacts at the hospital, making the entire process smooth and efficient. Despite the seriousness of the injury, Mr. Raveendran made sure our guest faced no difficulties in an unfamiliar location. He was extremely considerate, checking in with me personally to ensure everything was going well and following up on their health. The first thing he asked was not about any formalities or settlements, but about their well-being. I truly appreciate the thoughtfulness and professionalism shown by Mr. Raveendran and his team. It was a comfort to know that our guests were in such caring hands during a stressful time.

Food is good and tasty except their service in dealing consumers. On table orders are served on time after paying you will have to wait for a parcel. Poor service providing when compared to other heritage veg hotels in payyannur

We had 2 nights stay. Room was clean & tidy. Very courteous service by the front desk. Attached restaurant serves vegetarian food. Location is very good. Ample parking space. Close to the ancient Sri Subramanya Swamy Temple.

Wonderful place to stay if you're planning to go to Sri Subramanya Swami Temple. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and neatly maintained. Overall the experience was top notch.

I recently visited Skanda Residency for my friend's engagement function and I must say, it was a decent experience overall. The auditorium, however, seemed a little small for the number of guests that were present, and it could benefit from having a little more space. If you're looking to book a room here, one of the benefits is that the Payyanut temple is very near, making it convenient for devotees. Additionally, there is a beautiful restaurant attached to the residency that almost serves all the time, which is a definite plus. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was great. Overall, I would recommend Skanda Residency for its convenient location, good food, and comfortable accommodation.
