Amala Hotel and Restaurant

I am writing to bring attention to the owners and management. Me and my friend have been to your hotel, as far as the rooms are concernedm its very good. But the behaviour of staffs in Bar is disastorous ! this is the 4th time in this year visiting you Hotel and we went to the BAR - The same set of staffs in the bar, who doesnt even look at customer's face, I repeat doesnt even look at customer's face. Forced to wait for more than 5 to 10 minutes to get a response. I am serious, no kidding. They dont respect the customers, they talk rudely. They are not interested to serve, they dont basically want to give business to your hotel, thats the reality. Its just a suggestion. Anyways, there are better bars nearby who serves good !

Booked this place as a stop for the night while travelling from Trivandrum to Sabarimala. The hotel is located very close to Pathanamthitta's main KSRTC bus terminal. The entrance to the hotel is at the back, which is accessed by the road on the left hand side of the building. The front serves as a bar and restaurant. Room was neat and tidy. Bathroom was clean and fresh. Room was highly comfortable helping us rest well before the climb to the temple.

The person who handles reception in the evening ( Senior person - not the young guy who sits in the morning) is not fit for that job. While check in, I asked him to give me the best room and he became angry saying I should not ask like that..as they don't have any Bad rooms there.. I wanted to make him clear that I need a Deluxe room with more space but he was not ready to listen to me. Since it was too late and I was not very familiar to that town I checked in.

Hotel is Very Good - Value for money - Centrally Located. Many pilgrims going to Sabarimala stay in this hotel in Pathanamthitta.

Rude behaviour from front office staff. The restaurant owner has replied that I had violated the hotel rules. Does the hotel rules say that a visitor who comes to visit a guest during daytime will be denied access to the guest and that the guest has to come down to the lobby to talk to him? Is it a prison to form such regulations? And will it be a pathetic behaviour if the action of the staff is questioned? I have stayed in many five star hotels in various hotels across India and nowhere I have seen such negative approach.

Very friendly staf, and very tested food rooms very clean and neet service is good and all most is good

Hotel room was neat and clean. The staff are cordial and efficient. I wish they had a restaurant also
