We were delighted to discover this place, which offers a close view of the backwaters, an idyllic scenery, and a quiet and soothing space, making it the perfect restorative getaway. We also had the chance to see trains and train tracks and interact with locals, adding more value to our stay. The host, Ajeeth, and other staff were very pleasant and caring. Rooms were comfortable and clean, with beautiful wooden decoration. The food was authentic and absolutely delicious! We also booked a canoe ride, which was so serene, allowing us a well deserved break from normal life. We highly recommend this place, and will definitely visit again.

A quiet haven surrounded by wonderful birdlife. Difficult to describe and not sure where the main photo comes from. That wasnt really what it looked like from a distance but I think there has been some change since that photo (no large road/bridge. Rather greener and prettier in real life. There are about 6 rooms around a grass square. It is not really a resort, much smaller and hidden away in the backwaters of Kerela. the rooms and bathroom are excellent, very comfy and clean and the food is delicioius. the Manager is also the chef and will really cook to order and it is all very tasty. We also took two boat rides, which were wonderful. No other tourists, as it is really tucked away. Went biking and walking and really loved it. There are shops about 20 mins walk away. We stayed here for 4 days and just relaxed and watched the amazing birdlife. i would recommend the place. As it is by the water you do need repellent.

Loved the stay here. The owner & staff are really helpful and caring. Food is awesome. Location is pretty near the beach. And the backwater view was awesome. Loved the stay here. You have to try the boat ride to the beach and back. It's worth your time and money. The smell from the backwater can be a little tiring sometimes; other than that, great experience for the amount charged.

A truly delightful resort located directly on the Backwaters of Kerala. The host, Ajeesh, was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were impeccably clean and the bed very comfortable. The A/C worked beautifully and the WiFi was super fast. The bathroom was one of the best we've seen on our three-month travels. Breakfast was included and dinner was served at a very fair price. Ajeesh offered us his motorbike (only would have to pay petrol). We opted to take up his offer for several privately-led boat tours, which gave us a great insight into the way the local people live. An unforgettable experience!

I stayed with my wife's family from Canada here for 16 days and here are my thoughts: - First about the room: The rooms were clean and comfortable. The room service was excellent and they did a fantastic job with it. - Now about the staff: The staff went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable.They were there at any point of time to make sure that we get what we need and quick. - Now the food: The food was awesome. The staff took extreme measures to provide good food customized to our needs like spiciness, allergies, etc - Finally the location and experience: The location is super calm and quiet. It is the perfect place for a getaway from the loud city. It is right next to the backwater which makes it perfect spot to have a tea and chill. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kerala.

This is a lovely place on the backwaters of Kerala. It is a little ways from the city and away from any main roads. It is quiet, peaceful, and Serene. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing Kerala vacation, this is the place to go. It is a quick 30 min ride to Fort Kochi or Alleppy. I went to Fort Kochi, which was worth it but crowded. I then decided not to go anywhere else and just enjoy the local area. There is an excellent bird sanctuary (Changaram) which is walkable from this place. ||This review would not be complete without mentioning the staff, particularly the manager/cook/... Ajeesh. Ajeesh was wonderful. When I mentioned that I am very interested in trying Kerala cuisine, he cooked something new and authentic for me for every breakfast dinner; each item different from the one before. He arranged travel to and from airport, to Fort Kochi, arranged my backwaters conoe ride and a lot more. Him and his help partner were a joy to be around. ||I highly recommend this place.

Best location for authentic Backwater exploration. Also mid way between Alleppey and Cochin if you wish to get bus or train or taxi there. |But due to the peaceful, idyllic setting we didn't venture far. The breakfast was perfect. Supper so tasty and cheap. Hosts couldn't do enough for us. I haven't felt this relaxed for years. They even sourced some beer so we didn't have to go out. Beer in Kerala is not readily available.
