Hotel Chithrapuri

I had a deeply distressing experience at Chithrapuri Bar on 8th December 2024. The General Manager and some staff members were involved in an unprovoked physical assault on me, resulting in severe injuries, including trauma to my left eye and injuries to my hands and legs. ||||This behavior is completely unacceptable, and such actions from management and staff are a clear violation of basic decency and customer safety. Despite the gravity of the situation, no efforts were made by the bar to address or prevent the incident. ||||I strongly urge anyone considering visiting this establishment to think twice, as customer safety does not seem to be a priority here. I hope the authorities take swift action to ensure justice and prevent such incidents from recurring.

Here you can see the perfect example of how poorly they treat customers. We booked two rooms, but our guests refused to stay due to the poor service, even though they tried to check in at 10 o'clock at night. When we asked the receptionist and the manager, they said this was the standard service they offer to all customers and couldn't do anything better. Please avoid booking rooms here; it's better to sleep on a platform with self-respect

Review is bit late as the bill was settled after a week due to miscalculation of the staff. The bill was charged for all the rooms (14 nos) of the hotel. Unnecessary argument due to poor front office and administration. Not a good hotel for peace loving people. They never changed their stand of number of rooms alloted. No coordination between the staff. No proper response for malfunction of AC in room. Invoice made was as per their wish. Charged for extra 2 rooms which were not booked. Additional beds were charged even for the rooms that we did not ask for. Already occupied person was again counted as new incumbent when he returned after going out. This was lack of coordination between the staff at night and day. No accountability. Overall it was a bad experience. Location-wise good; near to Kottayil Convention Centre. Hence, people have a tendency to book this nearby hotel, which is NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED . Is this how a 2-Star hotel's front office needs to be. Not worth for even a single star rating.

A bar with reasonable rates. They charge 170 rupees for KF premium, 210 for KF ultra and 70 rupees for egg chilli in their A/C bar. This is to get an idea of the prices. Seats are comfortable and the premises are neat. Also the parking is looked over by watchmen and there was no hindrance from habitual drunkards. Good place to have drinks. Well .. this is an edit after numerous visits. So many occasions so much of fun... Today they provided green salad and chicken 65 as complimentary, with no charges. Thank you hotelier... Edited Adulteration friends... On couple of occassions I felt the drink being really adultered. Keep away if you value your health. Dear hotelier, bye. Not visiting anymore.

I would not recommend this hotel at any cost. If you are planning to conduct marriage function at Kottayil convention, do not book this hotel for your guests to stay jus because it is nearby. We had gone through nightmares after booking this hotel. Staffs are very impolite if you ask any favour or complaint to them. The AC was not working on "suite room" (room No : 107), when asked, staffs said that you should have inform them before 5 because there is no technician available after 5, (note that we have check in at 6:30pm). They are very unprofessional for managing rooms and guests. They have charged additional 5000 RS putting extra beds for our guests. Finally after putting evidence and all they finally reduced RS 2500/-. We have booked several hotels around palakkad but none of there we hadn't experienced any trouble. My suggestion is to completely avoid this hotel at any point.

Mostly i liked the hotel and the atmosphere. I didnt have bad experience. In ac bar sometimes in some cases they dont come to our table. So i waited for long and no one so i decided to go there. Some cases the side dish is old and smell bad. And one guy is splitting on floor its irritated me.
