PWD Rest House Palakkad

I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent stay at your PWD Rest House. While the overall experience was adequate, there were a few concerns that require immediate attention. Firstly, the fan in our allotted room was not functioning properly, which caused significant discomfort, especially during the night. Additionally, the presence of a large number of mosquitoes added to the inconvenience, making it difficult to rest peacefully. I would suggest equipping rooms with functional fans and ensuring adequate mosquito control measures. Secondly, there was a miscommunication regarding the booking charges for consolidated government employees. At the time of booking, we were informed about a deduction applicable to government employees, but no clarification was provided that consolidated employees would not qualify. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay the deducted amount, which was both unexpected and inconvenient. Clear information about eligibility for such deductions should be conveyed during the booking process to avoid confusion. I hope you take these suggestions into account to enhance the experience for future guests. Thank you for your attention to these matters.

Ample space for a budget friendly rate. The A/c was working fine. Heater is available. The service was nice and friendly staff. The problems I have noticed is that there is no security in the premise. Anybody can enter into the premise and staff were not available for night time.There was no canteen available in the rest house.

Rooms are neat and clean. Only problem is catering services not available.

Located in between the railway station palakkad junction and bus station. Spacious room with nominal cost. Only thing is there was no wardrobe

Centre of the city. Just basic facility. Rooms are far away from the parking. Fan was making huge noice. Entrance is little tight so watch out the sides of your vehicle. No food facility nearby. Indian coffee house 1 km away.

Very pathetic room. Beds are too old and very hard. Bathroom is not clean. Location and rates are the only good things about this property.

Good room good atmosphere. Large Parking space. No canteen Service. No water filter
