I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kottaram Hotel, A K G Road, Palakkad - Ponnani Rd, Ottapalam, Palakkad, Kerala 679101, and it was truly one of the most remarkable experiences I've ever had. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine sense of hospitality that made me feel right at home. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The staff deserves a special mention. They went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions, accommodating my special requests, or simply greeting me with a friendly smile, their commitment to excellent service was evident throughout the stay. Mr Mony Bose, the guest relations and operations professional at Kottaram, deserves a special mention for his understanding of customers' needs and ability to resolve challenges. Let's talk about the food- The on-site restaurant serves an incredible array of delicious dishes, from hearty breakfasts to exquisite dinners. The overall ambience of the hotel is elegant and tranquil--ideal for both leisure and business travellers. Despite its central location, the property feels like a peaceful oasis, offering the best of both worlds. I genuinely didn't want to leave, and I can't wait to return. Stayed with family on 08.12.2024 and enjoyed the experience. The hotel is just 100 metres from the main road and near the Ottapalam bus stand. The rooms are very neat and the bathrooms tidy. The ambience is generally good. The food at the restaurant was quite tasty. Mr.Krishnadas at the Reception and Bipin at the restaurant took very good care of us. I would recommend this hotel to any future visitor to Ottapalam.

Not many stay options in Ottappalam and this was the best we could find. The rooms were pretty average and could take some updating. Nothing to write home about but you are safe and sort of rested.

We have stayed two - three times in this hotel. It is easily accessible but at the same time it is peaceful. Rooms are of good quality and the service is decent. Price is reasonable. They have an in-house restaurant. Recommended.

The hotel is located less than one km away from the main road. A narrow road leads to the hotel. The property is spacious and has a restaurant, a local bar, and outdoor parking.||The rooms are reasonably sized with standard facilities. We booked via booking.com as we didn't receive a response when we called and messaged the hotel on WhatsApp.||One issue was the late-night noise and screaming from the local bar inside the property. If there is shaded parking, it will be a great option. Drunk people making noise and fighting near the vehicle parked caused a slight concern to us. I called the reception staff who promised to send the security staff; however, no one came.||We have not decided whether we will be staying here again as we have to travel here frequently due to the bar and unsafe parking.||Upon request and payment, the staff cleaned my vehicle, and I much appreciated it. Service was good. The reception staff had some confusion about the room rate we received; later, upon showing the booking confirmation, it was agreed.
