Vedic Village Retreat

We had an incredible three-night stay at this resort. Everything was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the rooms were spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. The overall ambiance was both serene and pristine, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The lake view was absolutely mesmerizing. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly polite, respectful, and genuinely welcoming, always with a smile and never once displaying any signs of indifference. The food was consistently excellent, and overall, the experience was definitely worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Our recent stay at Vedic Village Retreat in Kodungallur was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst lush greenery and overlooking the tranquil backwaters, the resort offers an idyllic setting that perfectly blends nature's beauty with modern comforts. The river-view room we booked provided a peaceful ambiance, allowing us to unwind and reconnect with nature. The accommodations were immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The unique open-roof shower was a refreshing experience, adding a touch of luxury to our daily routine. What truly set our experience apart was the exceptional hospitality. From the warm welcome at the reception by Ameesha to the attentive service provided by Operations Manager Natesh, Anup, and every member of the kitchen and housekeeping staff, we felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Their dedication and friendliness made us feel right at home. My 10 months old baby really enjoyed the friendliness gesture of the Vedic Village team without any discomfort. The culinary offerings were a highlight. Each meal was freshly prepared upon order, ensuring hot and flavorful dishes that catered to our preferences. The chef's attention to detail and the use of fresh ingredients made dining at the resort a delightful experience, eliminating any desire to eat elsewhere. Our stay at Vedic Village Retreat was truly overwhelming in the best possible way. The harmonious blend of natural beauty, comfortable accommodations, delectable cuisine, and outstanding service has left an indelible mark on our hearts. We are already planning our next visit and look forward to creating more cherished memories at this exceptional retreat.

Great stay, very relaxed with delicious food and great service. All staff were amazing, we had delicious food ordered to our room every night with a smile. The breakfast too was v tasty. The chef is very talented. Thank you Anoop for helping us book a taxi to munaar. We will be back!

Very good overall. The staff were excellent, and the rooms were very clean. The location and atmosphere were both impressive. However, parking was a major issue--there was no proper parking space available. It would be great if they could arrange better parking. Also, the food was delicious but quite expensive.

Found this hidden gem in kodungallur near cochin which is surrounded by pure nature and lush greenery, perfect blend of Luxury and nature This outstanding property is Situated on VP Island near Moothakunnam, on the banks of the Periyar River, offering serene river views and lush greenery. This property is very Close to historical sites, Offers a variety of rooms, including Deluxe Rooms, Superior King Rooms, and Villas, some with garden or lake views. They have in-house restaurant where they serves delicious veg and non veg cuisines, also they have one beautiful swimming pool where you can chill out with your loved ones. Overall our experience with this property was outstanding highly recommend this resort specially for nature lovers.

We narrowed in on Vedic Village after a lot of contemplation due to the adventurous approach road but were completely pampered by the in house hospitality and promises to details...Mr George Mr Anoop Mr NateshaN nd miss Ashmi were very patient to deal with my concerns and specifications every time I called them..We were hosting an Easter family break which required exotic non vegetarian cuisines and Chef Vinu alongside chef Akhil took all the pains and expertise to cook up these Premium styled dishes and every guest appreciated the flavours..The seating arrangements.. our priorities..last minute demands...They fixed it like pros..they even baby cared responsibly..took care of mosquitoes ..kudos TeaM..Take a bow and keeP up the quality of hospitality.

The resort is located far from the city, offering a peaceful retreat with a nice backwater view. However, the service was disappointing. The refrigerator in our room wasn't working, and the open-space bathroom had an unpleasant smell. To make matters worse, the staff forgot to place our luggage in the car, and we had to return 10 km to collect it. Definitely not the level of service expected from a resort of this standard. Needs major improvements in hospitality.

This is a total gem!! Amazing, peaceful grounds, gorgeous rooms and views. The pool was very nice and I can't say enough about the service. Delicious authentic Kerala cuisine. They are opening a spa in July- I'll need to come back!
