The room was huge and location of the room provided was splendid. It was facing right towards the forest. There were no geysers to have hot water though for having a bath. The room itself wasn't kept in good shape, the wall plaster was coming out and the sheets weren't properly cleaned. The service was fine overall. Staff were courteous and food was amazing. We spoke to few people local to the area and the owner. It seems the wild elephants frequently visit the stream right behind the hotel. We were unlucky to have a look of the wild elephants though.

Nestled alongside the roadside on the journey to Munnar, this accommodation offers a budget-friendly option for travellers. We spent just one night there. We didn't encounter any significant issues, but we had standout experiences, the service truly impressed us. The staff made us feel incredibly welcomed and attended to, ensuring our stay was comfortable. The location is absolutely picturesque, situated right by the river, providing a serene ambience. The on-site restaurant serves delightful homemade meals, making it a perfect spot to enjoy satisfying and delicious food. Overall, it was a pleasant stop on our journey.

The rooms need to be renovated as soon as possible. The hotel location is very beautiful but it has deteriorated due to lack of management.. After renovating this hotel will be very nice experiance to stay..

The worst place I ever visited in Kerala. Very poorly maintained bathrooms, toilets, rooms, bedsheets, pillows. The rooms smelled badly. Overall all the environment was bad. The place is very different than the photos shown here. The outside environment looks good but the inside is very dirty.

I just happened to visit this restaurant on last Thursday (16/01/2025) at 8pm. I had an online lecture at 8pm. I requested the staff to allow me to do it inside a calm and queit corner. I also ordered for a cup of tea. He agreed to it and I started my presentation. Unfortunately, my lecture dragged till 9pm. I didn't know how time flied. In between, the staffs interrupted my lecture and behaved rashly. He talked to me in a high pitched voice and insulted me in front of 100s of students who was attending online lecture at that time. They said the "owner" of the restaurant saw me through cctv and scolded them. I had to stop the lecture and rush with my laptop to my car and continued my lecture there. Although, it was a silly incident, I was shocked by the staffs and owners behaviour. We claim and reiterate to everyone that we consider our guests as "Athithi devo bhava". But, in reality we tend to loot money from guests. We tend to give respect to people whom they think are potential customers. The attitude of this staff represents the whole attitude of God's own country. I remember that I have stayed in a cafe for a whole night with just 1 cup of coffee when I was abroad. That too with free wifi & ac. They do not have this "athithi devo bhava" culture, but infact they literally let me feel like a honored customer. We had to learn so many things from foreigners.. Hope this attitude of us will change some day..

Exceptional service, impeccable cleanliness and excellent amenities made our stay unforgettable. The location was great, the view was beautiful, we could see wild animals and the value for money was unbeatable.
