Niharika Homestay

I really had the best of both worlds at this beautiful homestay. With Kovolam Beach only a short taxi ride away, I was able to enjoy the light house, beach, restaurants and shopping and then return to the serenity and village feel of the homestay. The home has all the features of an elegant Indian style, with marble floors and teak wood windows and staircase. There are 3 balcony areas to relax and enjoy the views into the garden. There was even a secluded balcony for yoga. The garden was stunning, with a lawned area, pond, coconut trees, a huge jack fruit tree, pepper corn plants and a variety of other fruits.The beautiful Devi Temple was just up the road and I visited Azhimala Shiva Temple, one of my favourite places right on the ocean and Kuzhipallam Botanical Gardens and Research Centre, the largest plant nursery I have ever seen. I would highly recommend this place for those who wish to experience the true Indian village lifestyle, with all the luxury and comforts to relax in. I will definately return when I get the opportunity. Thanks so much .

I stayed at Niharika Homestay for three days and had a pleasant experience. The room was well-cleaned, spacious, and comfortable. The host was very good and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The homestay is surrounded by trees and nature, offering a peaceful and quiet environment--perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything was in order, and I had no complaints. Me and my wife recently visited this property and we had a wonderful experience. Well maintained property in a prime location with a serene atmosphere making us feel right at home which is very near to Kovalam, Vizhinjam and Trivandrum city. The rooms were clean and comfortable, especially we appreciate the well stocked kitchen. The only minor issues we noticed is the availability of WiFi and we would highly recommend Niharika home stay to others. It's a true gem and we hope to visit again soon.

Staff was extremely friendly. Home cooked food was yummy. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience.

It's a good place for home stay, the location is beautiful and lovely, close to nature, mind refreshing . Everyone come and enjoy .
