Whispering Waters Resort

One could blindly give a 5 star rating without any doubt. The staffs were veey professional and helpful to the core. The food was tasty and had various options for buffet. The rooms were quite spacious with all necessary amenities and balcony. The recreation activities including pool, indoor and outdoor games kept us engaging throughout the stay. The highlight is their location - quite calm and serene, the only music being that of flowing river and bird chirping. Highly recommended for families and couples

My daughter and I stayed here for one night whilst touring Kerala. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, gorgeous views of the river where elephants go to bathe and drink. Unfortunately not in the short time that we were there but it was fun trying to spot them.|The room was large, comfortable and clean, the food was delicious and generous. The staff were lovely, and very helpful. It was a shame that we were only there for one night as we really enjoyed our stay.

It was really awesome. The ambience and the food. But my friend and family stayed there by my recommendation, for two days about two months back and they charged 2500 Rs the black forest 1kg CAKE which is available at 750 rs in all bakery shops. That was like slaughtering. So be careful while ordering cakes.

We recently visited Whispering Waters Resort as part of a team outing program from our office. The resort is situated near the serene Periyar River, and the location is undoubtedly one of its best features. It's a calm and quiet place, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Another highlight is its proximity to the famous Paniyeli Poru, which is just 1.5 km away. The rooms were spacious and decent, but there's definitely room for improvement in the food department, especially in terms of variety. The swimming pool was attractive and well-maintained, adding a nice touch to the overall experience. However, we felt that the property fell short of expectations based on the photos we saw online. The resort is not as expansive as it appears in the pictures, which was a bit disappointing. While it was a pleasant visit overall, we expected a bit more in terms of grandeur and amenities.

We, the members of Y's Men's Club, Mulanthuruthy, went on a family trip to this beautiful resort. It was a short trip, just a day outing. The resort is located near the Periyar River and offers a serene ambiance. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and found the experience highly satisfying. The rooms were neat, clean, and well-furnished, adding to our comfort. The food was also delicious. Overall, it was a trip worth every moment!

It's a quaint resort in the middle of nowhere near the riverside of periyar. Being near the paniyeli poru tpurist spot makes it an ideal rest stop for long distance visitors to these spots... The food was unexpectedly good . Wouldn't call it fancy but definitely tasty and yummy. The property. Th roads to the property ade mostly good... except if maps decide to give you hell. Use common sense to take the best routes. The parking facility is decent. And we'll demarcated. The property lawn and surroundings are kept decent... but I'd say there's room for improvement. As we explore the property, we can see the props for lots of outdoor activities here n there...be it cycles, a trampoline house for kids... play archery bows n arrows....some swings (which seemed fishy regarding their state of maintenance).etc... The pool is really big but shallow at 4 ft depth. Altho I'd suggest it be kept cleaner... Lots of hotspot benches n one gazebo for couple n groups aline to indulge in a conversation in nature. The rooms. The rooms n big spacious n decent, with most of them having a good view. Decent bathrooms n beds,lighting n amenities...altho I did have concerns regarding the cleanliness of the rooms. Other amenities. Conference hall - decent hall for up to around 100-150 people, I guess. Game area.... common gym ...some.book n fancies for a quick read... Overall, it was a good place to be in... and had a nice experience personally.

I had visited the resort in August 2024 with my family. We had a great time in the resort as there were many activities within the resort that helped us bond as a family. The rooms were clean and spacious. The service was excellent. Looking forward to visiting again.
