Hotel Saugandhika Residency - Modern Luxury Hotel

On our way to the Eklm side, we stopped at Hotel Saugandhika, Bay Leaf restaurant, which offers a delightful buffet breakfast for just 150 per head. The spread included mini masala dosa, idli, chicken stew, porotta, and beef ularthiyathu. Each dish was packed with flavor, showcasing authentic South Indian and Kerala cuisine. The masala dosa was crisp, the chicken stew aromatic, and the beef ularthiyathu was a standout with its rich, spicy profile. Overall, the food was delicious and well worth the price. I'd rate Bay Leaf an 8/10 for its tasty offerings and great value!

The food is excellent here, in terms of taste, quality and price. Their traditional dishes are all worth trying, especially meals. The hotel and the rooms are well-maintained compared to any other hotels in b/w the Alleppey and Kollam stretch. The staffs, including the front desk, are however not very professional and need to improve communication with customers.

Had a very bad experience at Saugadhika Hotel. We paid for a photoshoot session here, but when we tried to take photos at the backside of the hotel, the staff stopped us very rudely. Their behavior was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. We were not informed about any such restrictions while booking. Totally disappointed with their attitude. I do not recommend this place to anyone, especially for photoshoots or events.

Had a wonderful stay at Saugandhika Residency in Kayamkulam! The hotel is excellent in every way -- clean, comfortable rooms, great food, and top-notch service. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and made check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and professional. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quality stay in Kayamkulam!

While searching for a good restaurant to have lunch, I accidentally discovered this one. The restaurant, named Bayleaf, offers good-quality food. The bathrooms are clean, and there is ample parking available.

Okay, so this hotel was a pleasant surprise! We were in Haripad for a "Kollam" celebration and ended up at the Saugandhika Residency. We were completely satisfied with every aspect of this hotel. We highly recommend it to everyone who wants to stay in Haripad!

The buffet, once worth the price at 200, has now become a disappointment. Initially, it offered good value, but now it seems to be all about making money, with neither quality nor taste living up to expectations.
