Indian Summer House

A lovely Oasis of calm and relaxation. We had two beautiful rooms which were very, very spacious, beautifully decorated and spotless. The pool was delightful, situated near the rooms, but set up among trees allowing for a peaceful and quiet spot to relax. My daughter and I each had a massage which were wonderful. Our only regret was that, due to our itinerary, we only spent one night. I would happily have stayed several. The staff was delightful and the place had a very homey feel. Loved it.

We were only ones there - felt like royalty! Lovely welcome - Staff were amazing. Had dinner with owner who was lovely. Very personable and friendly staff. Had a huge detached chalet, very clean and had every facility. Lovely private gardens and huge pool which we used every day. Did a canoe trip to local tea room - great experience. Massage and yoga were fantastic. The gardens are just beautiful with amazing wildlife. Felt very safe at all times. Would highly recommend a stay here at this magical place.

This was a really lovely hotel. Very much felt like we were staying in someone's extremely well cared for summer house, discreet but always someone there to attend! Beautifully managed and with such very lovely taste. The small details did not go un-noticed. This was in fact the highlight hotel of our Kerala stay. My husband and I both had massages which were really wonderful. The food was absolutely delicous. I would go back at the drop of a hat!

Indian Summer House is an exquisite property offering personal, thoughtful and spoiling accommodation along with a glorious garden, the best pool imaginable and wonderful staff. We adored our stay. We were introduced to the local community with a river crossing and a visit to the village Tea Shop where we met Mohanan who was a great showman. We also enjoyed a wonderful visit to a bird sanctuary, a relaxing canoe journey but best of all was the food and hospitality offered by everyone working at the property. We also enjoyed yoga each morning which was excellent and it was joyous to exercise in their magical garden. We indulged in massages on site which were sublime. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay - it was ALL fabulous.

It was our first visit to the Indian Summer House and we weren't disappointed! Suresh and his team made us very welcome and made sure we had all we needed. The food was excellent and the rooms were airy, spacious and comfortable - a cool refuge in the unusually hot heatwave. The gardens were beautifully maintained and the pool was pleasantly shaded with a generous number of sun loungers to choose from. A calm oasis for three days, shared with friends, at the end of a glorious holiday.

Had a lovely 2 night stay, room was very nice with indoor and outdoor showers. All meals were provided and were delicious. Alcohol is served but you can also take your own and store it in the communal fridge if you wish. Tea and coffee is available at all times in the kitchen. The first day we took advantage of the complimentary tour which involved a short canoe ride over a river and a visit to a traditional tea shop where we received some short eats of the day with our cup of tea. We were there on Valentines Day and had a lovely dinner by the poolside, complete with candles and roses.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were so welcoming and helpful; nothing was too much to ask. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The food, and the chef, were exceptional. Beautiful grounds, a calm and peaceful place. Would definitely return.

Beautiful setting in the heart of Mothernature. Amazing hosting team, with Suresh taking the time to take us out to an Authentic tea shop to watch proper Indian Chai being made, and enjoy some delicious local snacks - one of the highlights of our whole visit to Kerala.||The villa we stayed in was a blend of indoor and outdoor, with shower units both in and outside - ideal if you want to be at one with nature!||The pillows are pretty solid but comfortable if you like that sort of thing. ||Another special shoutout to the yoga teacher who gave us an individual class one morning, and was very patient with us despite us being complete beginners (he was clearly an expert)||A relaxing stay for which I'm greatful!
