Westwood Riverside Munnar

The location of the hotel was good beside the river. Calm and no traffic noise. Executive Superior room was neat and adequate. Clean bathroom with hot and cold water. Staffs were cordial and friendly. Buffet was decent but little over priced for the no. of items. Wifi was little on and off at night. The building was old still the interiors maintained adequately.Overall a good experience.

This hotel was a complete disaster! We were exhausted and frustrated, and the situation only got worse when we entered the room. It was absolutely disgusting! Everything was old and rundown, and the whole place reeked of something foul. The smell was so strong it made me want to vomit. It was impossible to pinpoint the source of the stench, but it seemed to permeate every corner of the room. The odor was so overpowering that it was difficult to breathe, and it lingered even after we tried to air out the room. To top it off, the water had a terrible odor, which made it impossible to even wash our hands. We couldn't even stand to be in the room, so we packed our bags and checked out as soon as possible. We will never stay at this hotel again and would advise anyone considering it to think twice. It's simply not worth the misery.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with our recent stay at this hotel. The accommodations were far below expectations, bearing little resemblance to the online descriptions and images. Our family group, including guests from the UAE, booked six rooms, and we were profoundly disappointed. The rooms were poorly maintained, exhibiting signs of age, unpleasant odors, and a lack of essential amenities such as air conditioning. Cleanliness was a significant issue, with both the rooms and bathrooms falling short of acceptable standards. The misleading online reviews and pictures led us to believe in a completely different experience. The overall experience was so negative that our guests were unable to sleep all night, and we were compelled to check out early the following morning. This stay significantly detracted from our entire trip. I strongly advise against booking this hotel, as it does not meet basic standards for comfort or cleanliness. This was, without question, the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered..

It was a hotel building with clean rooms. Worth if you get around 2500 with breakfast and Lunch/dinner. Location is good. TV not checked. Hot and cold Water available for bathroom. Dinner and breakfast was good. Wifi was working. Staff was supportive and polite.

Disappointing Stay - Not as Shown in Pictures I would not recommend booking this property based on the photos alone. Here's why: The hotel is located at the end of a damaged road, making access difficult. The property has a mosquito problem, which can be quite bothersome. The furniture, interiors, furnishings, and walls are old and worn out. Rooms have a musty smell and poor lighting, making the stay uncomfortable. Hot water is not available at night, which is inconvenient. The hot water tap was not functioning properly. Room cleanliness was disappointing and not well-maintained. The garden shown in the pictures is not well-kept. Breakfast was average and not very appealing. Overall, I had a subpar experience and would not recommend this hotel.

Nestled beside the clear waters of the river, this property provides the right level of disconnect. The riverside room secludes one from the hustle and bustle allowing one to enjoy the chirping birds, fish swimming in the clear waters, starry skies and of course the mesmerizing views. The breakfast options are adequate, and the property is located at a walkable distance from a bakery and couple of restaurants to satiate your hunger. Will visit again! Thanks for your hospitality

Good view from the riverview balcony rooms. Great staff, helpful and polite. We got a free upgrade! The location is in old Munnar so you can find many shops and other restaurants nearby. The rooms were spacious and clean. One thing that can be improved is the breakfast buffet, other than that it's a pretty good stay.
