The Whispering Meadows

When I visited Kerala for the first time with my wife, we stayed at this hotel for two days directly after arriving at Kochi Airport and traveling to Munnar. The hotel's surroundings are incredibly beautiful and natural, offering a very peaceful environment that makes you feel completely disconnected from the hustle and bustle of city life.At that time, when we first stayed there, there was no lift available, so we had to reach our room by using the stairs. However, climbing the steps allowed us to enjoy the natural beauty around the hotel, which made the experience even more special. From the balcony of our room, we could enjoy a truly mesmerizing view of the landscape.The hotel provides breakfast, which was not only delicious but also offered a wide variety of options to choose from. The food overall was excellent. What impressed us the most was the behavior and hospitality of the hotel staff --they were extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. I particularly remember a manager I think he was the manager who personally treated us with great warmth and made our stay even more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all couples who are planning to visit and explore Munnar. It's a perfect place for those looking for a peaceful, natural escape with excellent service.

The location and the view from the hotel was very beautiful. Food was a major setback, firstly very limited menu and few out of them are unavailable. Staff cannot manage a big crowd. Very short time for serving b/f or lunch or dinner. We reached at 2:00pm and there was nothing available for us to eat. Since the hotel is out of the way there's no vehicle available to commute. So if you're not too adventurous and like staying in the room or you have a vehicle with you this would be a good place to stay.

Last week we stayed. We had no hot water in our room all most everyday we need to call room service, electrician will come and do some setting. Last day hotel told us to shift the room next. Reg. Breakfast dosas rough, idlies ok. Repeating pogha menu daily. Chutney only one variety, very watery, No egg, no bread one day after demanding next day provided. 3 years back when we visited we had eggs, bread, and cut fruits in buffet. We were disappointed with breakfast. Dinner alacart very expensive even veg rice very costly. Employees very polite, trying to meet our needs. Reservation manager in reception also trying to help us. All these need to be rectified, and when crowd arrives managing capability to be increased.

stayed there with my family. very good location on the hill. Room is clean and spacious. hotel does not have a lift. you need to walk by steps. very good view from the top of the room. food was nice too, Sreejith was very friendly and offered complimentary tea on our arrival.

One of the best stays in Munnar if you want a peaceful environment. Though a bit earlier than Munnar town but definitely worth the penny if you want a bit luxurious stay. The south indian breakfast is quite yummy here. Even lunch/dinner options are available. The rooms were clean, there was hot water available, the washrooms were clean, and the staff was polite and helpful. And don't miss out on the actual whispering meadows. Had a wonderful time here with friends.

A picturesque hotel with a clean and spacious room with a beautiful view. We stayed here for two nights. The location is excellent. The morning vibe is very relaxing with sound of birds chirping and a great view of sunrise from the top floor rooms. The way towards the room is also amazing with many plants and flowers and birds. The food was good and the breakfast provided had variety as well. The staff here is very helpful. One of the staff members was kind enough to provide us a bottle of milk for our toddler without charging any money I'm really thankful for that.

Charming Ambience with Thoughtful Service We stayed at this hotel on our way from Munnar to Kochi, and the overall experience was pleasant. The hotel has a unique and beautiful ambience, with bird habitats on every floor as you climb to the rooms, which really adds to the charm of the place. It was a lovely touch that made the stay feel connected to nature. The food was just okay, but the staff and their service made up for it. They were attentive and courteous throughout our stay. On the day of our checkout, we had to leave early, and the staff was kind enough to pack us bread and jam for the road, which we really appreciated. The only downside was that the view from the rooms was obstructed by large trees, so you don't get the best scenic views. However, the peaceful environment and great service still made it a nice stop on our journey.
